centrally located villa with pool and hot tub awesome outdoor space

Host greeted us early in morning at the property and showed us the property. She had fruits and bread and a local beverage for us, which was nice.

AVOID...we had 10 guests during our stay, with 2 joining for the 2nd part of our stay, and 3 or 4 cars. Despite this, we were provided only two sets of keys to share (a minor issue!) We required maintenance visits 3 times to address a range of issues. The oven & laundry machines were not working upon arrival. The dryer filter was so full of gross greenish grey debris it took 15 minutes to clean so that machine could function properly. The hot tub was not completely filled, and was cold for the first 4.5 days of our stay. The only bathtub had no tub stopper, so we couldn't use it with our small children. The electricity shut off for the entire house 8 separate times during our stay. We were told upon arrival that hot water was on a schedule (which would have been inconvenient but acceptable) but it became clear that the times it was supposed to be on (6:30 to 10:30, 12:30 to 14:30, and 17:30 to 21:30) were the times it was off - so cold showers for everyone and no hot water for meal times for the first 3 days of our stay. There are 2 doors to an outbuilding outside, one of which leads to the 3rd shower, and the other of which leads to a mechanical area with a sunken pit about 2 feet from the door. THIS DOOR SHOULD BE LOCKED. One of the guests went over to the bathroom from the hot tub one of our final nights and opened the wrong door by accident. While feeling for a light switch he fell into the pit, scraped his face & arms, and bruised his ribs. Their were cockroaches in the kitchen. Finally, water leaked from the ceiling in the living room throughout our stay, especially dangerous with 4 kids in the house. When we expressed frustration with the situation, the host asked if we were simply fishing for a financial reward, which was both disrespectful & showed how little they thought of the inconveniences and dangers the poorly maintained or managed property offers to its guests.

Very spacious villa, 200% equipped. Great pool and also a Hot tube, which was perfect in a bad weather.

Located in a small Village, but almost in the center of the island.

Amenities galore! Wonderful place to access the entire island.
