Large very comfortable, clean room! Quiet and within steps of all the sites and wonderful restaurants! Pay parking very close and easy to negotiate!! The staff were all A+!! Would love to return and stay longer!!

The room was perfect. Good size, very modern all in a historic building. Great location to view all the attractions in old town. We had a magical view of the castle from the window. Staff were super friendly and helpful giving alot of tips on the area.

Everything was great!

Everything! This is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed (and we have stayed in some exceptional places!). Gregor greets you with exceptional service, coffee, humour and a smile. The location is in the town center with amazing close unbelievable castle view. We had the 2 bedroom unit on the top floor (with views). Ljubljana is a lovely town; we wished we had longer. Gregor on arrival gives fantastic recommendations of local restaurants and sight seeing. We are now in Bled wishing we were still at Barbo Palace!

Absolutely nothing

The property was in a perfect central location and the property was clean and well presented. Concierge services were friendly and helpful.

Our one recommendation would be to have a mirror in each of the bedrooms.

Building is old so the rooms had such high ceilings and loved that, but still cosy and warm at night, kitchen was a big plus, shower was lovely. Location was perfect and reception were so helpful and always there to answer any questions

The staff was fantastic. Gregor and Nina were very helpful in providing the local sightseeing ideas and making dinner reservations for us. This place is a former palace. Rooms are huge and accommodations outstanding. Walking distance to the river and all the restaurants and bridges.

Perfect location and close to everything. The place is very well-equipped and comfortable. The host is very responsive and helpful.

The only thing we didn’t like was that although our room was at the back of the building there was a constant noise (like a washing machine that was working nonstop) during the nights possibly from the kitchen or something else of a tapas restaurant. Also we preferably have liked a change of towels after three nights and it was not planned for less than 7nights stay. Nevertheless that’s did change our towels when we extra asked for it.

The only thing that tarnished our trip was nearby music from 10-1am, which you could still hear with the windows closed.
