Fabulous apartment overlooking the Place de Terreaux. Highly recommend. It’s an old building so be prepared no lift or air conditioning. Great host. Very quick to respond to questions. Great restaurants a short distance away in rue Merciere

The stairs are steep so take it slowly if you have suitcases. We visited during a heatwave so a little uncomfortable but had small portable air conditioner and opening windows early to let in the cool breeze was helpful

Really nice apartment, very clean with modern furnishings, beautiful view. Easy access to apartment and good communication re arrival etc

4 flights of very old steps to travel up to get to apartment - difficult after lots of nice French wine :-) Street where apt is accessed was quite busy with revellers late into the night / bit rough around edges

It was very tight and it got very hot in the room.

The location was very good. The ameninities in the apartment were more than enough. It was mostly clean (90%) but I would not say spotless. The communication with the property owner was smooth and easy. Double glazed windows were perfect in noise isolation, I would say one of the best I have seen.

The listing was not clear about the lack of a lift. It was written under some section which is hard to notice. The sofa bed was noisy, its springs needs some grease. There was a huge bathroom with dual sink and jacuzzi but the toilet area was separate and it was scandalously small.
