Jen’s accommodation is of high standard. It’s very homely. Breakfast is provided as is use of the kitchen. Each bedroom had its allocated bathroom. No sharing. There are common areas in the home used by Jen and other guests. It is an awesome place to stay. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I liked the location, not too far from interesting places and a hotel for dinner. I liked the food provided and that you could help yourself from a wide variety of things, including eggs. Jen was marvellous.

Because Jen's Getaway was a private house, it lacked the privacy of a commercial place. First entry to the house was difficult because Jen had been called away and we couldn't understand where the key was hidden.

Not enough off road parking. And a young child staying with parent woke us early in the morning 5:30ish.

Breakfast was all catered for and we could help ourselves to all we wanted in our own time, we really enjoyed that flexibility. Room is very tidy and well appointed with a large ensuite bathroom. Jen was so helpful and had some great local tips for our last day, loved it!

Wonderful hosts - plus I bet them in skipbo so that was a bonus! House was great, clean and well stocked with whatever you needed. Our room was small but adequate for what we needed. Would definitely stay again. Felt most welcome and at home. Thanks Jen we enjoyed our one night stay & your generous hospitality.

We personally don't mind this arrangement, however you do need to like communal living as Jen rents out three bedrooms separately in her house which they also live in, so therefore are staying with other guests, within their living space. Difficult to fault as Jen does a wonderful job.

What a fabulous house. Just loved the deck and being able to sit and watch the kookaburras. Excellent provisions for breakfast and a truly lovely host.

Well stocked variety for included breakfast and a choice of indoor or outdoor pleasant surroundings. Easily assessable if you need an early start.

Jen’s home was exceptionally clean. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Jen and Tony were really good hosts. They were very polite and helpful; and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jen’s Getaway.

Jen was very welcoming. We stopped here as we wanted to visit Australia Zoo and this stay was perfect for it, only being about an 8 minutes drive. There’s lovely Mountain View’s with cafe look outs a short drive away. The house itself is beautiful! Our room and en-suite was lovely, the bed was so comfy. We would return and definitely recommend Jens Getaway.

Jen was very welcoming, the room was very clean and the ability to use the kitchen to make our own breakfast from a huge choice of available food was great. Overall great value for the money.

Th TV in the wardrobe was odd to say the least.(there was no other place for it however)

Modern house, common shared area is spacy, nice garden with dining table. Good quality food ready for breakfast, including juice, yogurth, corns, eggs, jam etc. You can share big kitchen with owner and prepare dinner or breakfast. Very close to Glass montains np.

We have expected shared house with owner= typical bnb, but was not clear prior our arrival there are totally 3 rented rooms and in peak summer season house was full of strange people. We had luck for nice and quiet ones but you can imagine if they are not. Walls are super thin... Plus Unfortunately we have got something else than booked. All 3 rented rooms have the same description but they are different. Our did not have aircon which was in booked room description and was our search condition, we were not booking rooms in summer without AC. Here was just ceiling fan. Our had ensuite, some others I saw had private bathroom over hall...  In low season when just one room booked at time it can be nice experience in modern house with lovely host if you dont mind there is no aircon.
