close to the beach

It was a good location and the owners were really nice. It’s underneath a cafe where you can buy breakfast and juice.

Both mornings we were there we got woke up by men standing right outside our window being loud doing some sort of outdoor work. We felt like our privacy was being invaded as we were laying in bed practically making eye contact with these men - because of this we checked out and went somewhere else. We booked this place specifically to be self catered and use the kitchen, but there were no basic cooking essentials like oil, salt and pepper etc which would have been helpful. There’s no AC just overhead fans so it gets very hot when cooking.

There is no parking. We had to leave our car on the side of the road.

Marcella is a lovely host and there's nothing missing in the apartement. Also the upstairs restaurant nice:)

Excelent host!!! Very helpful and so kind! ;) She provided refreshments, recommended restaurant, helped with ATM and Isla Saona Boat trip..

The location is ideal, national park Cotubanama is within a few minutes drive, Bayahíbe Beach and a few smaller others are within walking distance and Dominicus beach is a short drive as well.
