We had a wonderful vacation in La Caletta thanks, among other things, to this apartment. It has a great location in a quiet, newly-built prosperous residential area. The beach is a ten minute walk. A good supermarket with almost exclusively local food and beverages is just 200 meters away. Another one, also a good one, is downtown. The apartment has everything a family is looking for: two bedrooms (the adult one is very spacious; the other one has two beds and you can have an extra crib), a bathroom and a large living room with a kitchen. The bathroom has a washing machine – a blessing if you are travelling with young children. The well-equipped kitchen has a large gas stove, a large fridge and many cupboards with all sorts of cooking utensils and china. There is also a large balcony/veranda with another large table. We had most of our meals and spent much time there. The owner, Marco, was accommodating and responsive. We would love to have had a detailed instruction in English or German on how to sort the garbage. The way they do it in Italy is very different from Germany. Again, the great advantage of this flat for family people or those who want some peace and quiet is that it is in a new, quiet and well-off residential area. La Caletta itself has a strategic location on the Costa Smeralda. A bus ride to a charming village Santa Lucia to the south is only 10 minutes. We went on foot with a stroller to the great beach in the nearby San Giovanni di Posada to the north several times. It took about 35 minutes. Great nature there. Amazing sandy beaches all around La Caletta are perfect for children. All in all, we have had a great stay and would be glad to come back.

Everything was ABSOLUTELY GREAT - top apartment in great location (nice quiet street but not far from the main street with restaurants, bars, gelateries, cafes, gift shops and supermarkets - about 5 minutes on foot). Marco was very nice and helpful host, he informed us about everything important (especially garbage and its disposal each day - plastic, glass etc.). We arrived at about midnight - it was no problem for Marco, who waited for us and gave us the keys from the apartment. The apartment is in the first floor with separated entrance. There is a big terrace (view to the sea) with table and chairs for breakfasts and evening vines :-) There are also available four sunbeds, big umbrella and some toys for children. Two separated bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The kitchen is well-equipped. In the large bathroom is a shower, wc, bidet and washing machine. Everything correspondes to the photos. There is the italian sentence which I wanted to say Marco during the saying goodbye, but I was a little bit nervous and forgot it (I can´t speak Italian): Grazie Marco per la migliore vacanza della nostra vita. Tutto era fantastico, bellissimo posto. Siamo molto tristi di dover partire. Adoriamo La Caletta, adoriamo La Sardegna. :-)

NOTHING bad, everything GREAT.

Apartment is in super location, near by city center and short distance to many superb beaches. There is spacious terrace, the host Marco is super nice and in overall apartment is well equiped.

There is no a/c only window shutters, so it might get quite hot in mid summer, kitchen might be better equiped

Marco is a very friendly host. Great terrace for evening meals. The house is conveniently located: close enough to the beach and restaurants of La Caletta, but far enough to relax without all the buzz of the touristy town centre.

The towels were a bit frayed, should be replaced with new ones.
