Pippali was an oasis of luxury in Kampot. I really did not see any other hotel that could compete with its facilities and quality of hospitality in Kampot. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the pool was out of this world, the rooms are spacious and light and food is of the highest quality. There was nothing too much trouble for the staff to deliver. I cannot recommend enough a stay at Pippali.

Loud music from bar/club next door, DJ yelling into the mic, from afternoon to late night. Earplugs were not sufficient to block the noise and vibration. Beds were hard and AC was not functional. Faucet was rickety and the bathroom dirty. Regretted staying here.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel on the river in Kampot. The rooms are large and comfortable and clean, the pool is a completely lovely and shaded oasis in the middle of town, the restaurant and food wonderful. But it is the entire staff who truly sell it. Every single one of them warm and friendly and welcoming. I never walked in without being greeted with a “welcome home!” And Sreymom and Mala made my stay complete. I will miss everyone here as I continue my travels.

Mosquitos - but not sure if they can do anything about it! It is a lovely boutique hotel but has very noisy neighbours which is a little off putting. if you have your ac & fan on then you can just about drown out the noise.

Great if you are seeking a place close to the town. Good variety of food; I enjoyed the fried seabass very much. Staff is super firendly and helpful. Facilities are clean; shower is warm and works well.

The price was too high compared to other places around, but then not all places have a restaurant... I would say this hotel is a safe option if you do not have much time for research. There are only few sunbeds by the pool, so seats are not always available when you want. A bit noisy, close to a busy road.
