Location is within walking distance to subway stations, Kuromon market and even Dotombori. There’s seven eleven and family mart everywhere. We just bought groceries and then cook breakfast in the common kitchen located on the 4th floor. Laundry is outside the porch area on the 4th floor as well. So much autonomy. I feel like it’s a home away from home. Management is very responsive to any concerns or questions and speaks English which really helps a lot. Just send him a message through the booking site and he responds right away. There’s umbrellas in the lobby for guests to use, rain or shine. You can go in and out of the hostel anytime using a Code.

The pillows were hard. Also the futon we used on the wood floor were thin. By the time we woke up in the morning, our backs were kind of stiff. Especially my husband who’s got back problem. We booked the Japanese style room good for six people and there’s only 5 of us. Still it’s a little tight. But hey it’s worth the money we paid for.

The property is very clean, and accessible to the train station and shops. it is good for the family to stay.

There was a lot of autonomy given that it wasn’t a traditional hotel. There wasn’t really any service but we didn’t mind since we were mostly doing our own thing. The room was clean and a decent size for small group. The location was very convenient, especially with a Family Mart located just steps away.

It would have been nice if they came in to change the trash for guests with longer stays, or provided directions to a hostel garbage bin for us to take out our own trash. Since we couldn’t find any garbage disposals, the we couldn’t really take out the trash. The room also had a weird smell coming from the bathroom which made the experience slightly less enjoyable. The room was decently sized but we did find the beds pretty hard (we even got bruises on our hips!).

The hostel is very clean and spacious. There is an option to sleep on western or Japanese style beds. Everything that you need for kitchenware is provided in the common area. No keys or card needed to enter the hostel or your room, just codes which made it really convenient. The host is very nice! Dotonbori and the market are walking distance.

Rooms were big by Japanese standards and comfortably fit six people, the bathroom (shower, no bathtub) was small but clean, heaters were warm and worked quickly

The Wifi when we stayed here did not work in the second bedroom, and there was no elevator to help with luggage

Joe, the owner was very accommodating. We arrived late but he stayed and waited for us. Check in was smooth. We are 5 in the family and the room was perfect for us. Location is the best, near Namba, Dotonbori, Kuromon Market. We will definitely recommend this hostel and come back. Love the Japanese style hostel. The common dinning area was very useful and nice. Being able to checkin and pay by ourselves. It's clean. Common area at the top floor is awesome. The location is near Kurumon Market and Namba Station.

-The hostel is sophisticated I'd say. They have substitute the manned for an ipad for you to to the check in. -Hostel and room has digital automatic lock which was first a bit confusing for us for the first time. But not a big deal afterwards - Hostel were very neat and spotless. Room was spacious and warm. - Interior is beautiful and location is near to the popular area (Namba) - I also love the shampoo & conditioner that's being provided!

- It doesnt have an elevator. The hotel has 4 levels in total - kitchen & washing area on 4th floor, bathroom on 3rd floor. We have to climb up the stairs from the 1st floor (where our room located) to get there - I rarely see the staff though. I thought they're available from 10-14 pm & 17-21pm. Nonetheless, they're nice and friendly though

500 m. from Nipponbashi Station. 100 m. from Kuromon Market. common room and bath room also toilet are very clean. friendly with good English service.
