The simple huts are so charming and offer privacy and comfort. The rooms are super comfy even without A/C.
Common shower and bathrooms are always clean and have cold and hot showers that work all the time even when the public water supply is off.
I also loved that the property is run by a lovely family and you feel like part of the family.
I can highly recommend to stay here and I will definitely stay here again.
I think some may think that the place is not super social especially if you want to hang out with other tourists.
For me it was lovely socializing and chatting with the local family that owns and operate the property.

The place is comfortable and clean, and it's in a quiet part of town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our two nights there and would recommend for a simple and affordable stay.

I booked for 4 nights and ended up coming back for 3 more from unexpectedly rainy El Nido. This place feels like home. The family is so kind and friendly. They invited me for their daughters birthday party, we’re helpful with bookings and recommendations. I felt very welcome there. Thank you! Already missing this place! 🤍🌸

Hot water in the showers, lovely huts, great owners, opposite a fantastic (but pricey) restaurant for breakfast and coffee.
Noise from the roosters but it is everywhere.

Everything was perfect. Clean and big dorm beds. The dorm room itself is small but we had enough space.
Every bed has a van so I had a good sleep! Would come again. Very friendly staff!

The owner was very nice and his wife help us to Book some Islande tour and transports.
It's vert cool in the morning to take a coffe in the commun Space next to the family

Rooms are nice and original, beds are comfy and bathrooms are clean. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Only 10 minutes walking from the main road.
The road at night is a bit dark at night but I never felt insecure in ay case

I felt so comfortable staying in the room. Great interior, made of quality materials, and the design is so lit. Perfect for IG. It has everything we need, there are lots of shower rooms and toilets to choose from. The staff are hospitable and easy to approach.

Too far from the town proper and transportation is difficult. This is good for those who knows to drive a f so single motorbike

location wasn’t too bad but it does require a proper 5 to 10 minute walk through the dark to get back from the beach/town to the hostel

Location, wifi, cleanliness and the hospitality of the owner and staff. It feels like im staying in my home. Very safe and comfortable place. Best hostel for me at Port Barton. Im sure ill be back soon😍

Warm shower, privacy in the dorm, the kitchen, hammock, the place were we can all chill, quiet place, fan in every bed
Wifi is a bit weak but it's everywhere like that in Port barton
A bit outside of the village so you need to walk a bit but not really a problem and at the end it's quiet

I loved this place! Went to Port Barton for 2 nights and ended up re-booking Russell Place up for a whole week in total! As i did that, i stayed in every size room available at the time: 4 dorm, 6 dorm, small double room, and big double room! All of them great! New fans, plugs and a small light on each bed on the dorms. Great common toilets, super clean and amazing water pressure. Free use of kitchen and unlimitted coffee and water!! The owner and his family are super friendly and helpful!! Best vibe!!!
