Very spacious, clean. Home away from home.
Appreciated the message that we could go in early and also that the heating was put on for us in advance.
Heaters in every room and electric blankets.

Big house. Good location although lane is very narrow.
Forget having access to the fireplaces, garage and kids playhouse is unsafe. Contacted agency and they don’t care. This was a major let down.
All floor board squeaks and you can not walk upstairs without waking the entire house
Had to take bins out for collection and pull the bin from half way down the lane up the hill.

The position and the view were fabulous. The house was warm and more than enough room for four people.
two of the three toilet seats were just about unusable, they were not connected . The place was not clean. Crumbs on the dinner table, food splashes behind the cooktop. kitchen needed a really good clean. Still some rubbish in the downstairs bathroom.
We were looking forward to a fire, which we were unable to use. We were unable to park the car in the garage. And big signs up everywhere telling us of the things we couldn’t do.

The house was very spacious and well equipped. There were beautiful views from the upstairs bedrooms. It was only several km to the wedding venue, Lochend Woolshed., so is perfect for guests with a wedding to go to there.
The location at the end of a private lane made it a little harder for other family to pop in.

Location was fantastic for the purpose of our visit, which was for our daughters wedding. The house was well appointed with plenty of room inside. A quality property, Would highly recommend this property
Maintenance upkeep both inside and out. Outside needs some TLC, many windows had cobwebs on the outside.
Inside: Many light bulbs were not working, toilet seat in downstairs bathroom was extremely loose. Ranchslider in dining room was not able to be opened and the door in the lounge leading outside to the paved area was locked with no key to be found. While these are very minor issues, they are also essential up keep for such a quality property.

lovely view, warm house, great entertaining areas
the property was clearly not recently used - the upstairs shower flooded on the first day, water all over the hall upstairs and from the room below - ceiling pouring with water into the room below. We used all the towels to mop up, trying to maintain it, no offer of towels to replace, had to wash them all, Kitchen drawers were not clean, poorly equipt kitchen in general - no serving platters for drinks and dinner, Really not a good deal for the price.

Oasis on Belmont Lane was a perfect home for our friends. It's really nice home, clean and well-equipped. Flawless message communication with the host. HUGE space with lots of places to relax. Each room had a great view which everyone loved, and the kitchen was a cooks dream.

The house was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious. Big Kitchen and bedrooms. beautiful gardens and not too far from town, around 5-8min, depending on the traffic.
We arrived at the end of the afternoon from the beach. There were 5 young kids needing a shower, after 2kids had a shower, the 3rd had a cold/slightly warm shower, the rest of us, four, couldnt have a hot shower. We had to use a warm cloth (used water from the jug) to clean the other 2 children. Very unpleasant. Called the management as we thought it might be a problem, as the hot water finished really quickly, sadly they couldnt do anything. Th Hot Water Cylinder has no capacity for 8ppl, not even 4ppl, unless they have a 2-3min shower. It was so disappointing as i was looking forward for a bath, but we couldnt even have a hot shower, which is the Minimum we expect from any place, especially when we pay so much for a night.
The other negative point is, the curtains. If you sleep in master bdr , you will wake up with the sun, not pleasant either.
Such a fancy house, which could not provide the basic.

This is a large house with lots of room to spread out, with good kitchen and big bedrooms. Location is good too - far from noisy students, but still only a few minutes drive from town. And Nicky from Edinburgh Short Stays was superb at promptly dealing with problems we had with hot water.
The lock box is a a bit finicky - took some doing on a dark night to open it and it wasn't until day two that I figured out how to lock it properly. Could do with replacing. We had problems with hot water too in the mornings - usually only two showers possible with the third going cold. Plumber and electrician investigated but found no fault. Odd in such a large house.

Very roomy with amazing living space and an excellent view. Multiple bathrooms were particularly useful for a party of 6 getting ready for a wedding. Location great, although nothing is too far away in Dunedin.
Quiet and private. Great parking space.
Lack of curtains in the living room, although double glazing helped.
Worn carpet on the stairs created a risk of slipping down the stairs, a potential injury risk.
