The host was friendly, and even arranged for a taxi for me. The apartment was in a safe community- we had to use keytags to access the main gate and then the apartment entrance. The grocery, cafe, currency exchange and other amenities were in the apartment complex. This saved us much time. The grocery in the complex was clean, organized, and affordable. The currency exchange place here had better rates than those in the Center.

While I enjoyed staying at the apartment, here are some things that can be improved: 1. Dining table: shaky and poor quality. 2. Bed Linen and Towels; even toilet paper was like sandpaper. 3. Cooking utensils 4. Distance from center: We had to walk 10min to talk a bus to the nearest subway, which was another 15 min or so. And then the subway would take 20 min for the Center (Teatralna or Khreshchatyk). So, we would spend almost an hour to reach the Center of Kiev. Spending 2 hours for commuting everyday was a bit tiring.
