Location was legit the best and even though it was in a busy area, the hotel was nice and quiet. Staff was incredibly helpful as well. No complaints.

The location is great, it is so close to shops and it isn’t far until you’ve found a great restaurant.

The rooms were dated but tidy, the bathroom wasn’t very clean & dust was built up in a lot of areas within the room. Don’t bother with the breakfast here, we ended up asking for a refund for the 2nd day as the 1st day was disappointing and we didn’t want to go back - it’s a shame because the hotel common area is nice and modern, we thought we would be getting a nice breakfast. The hotel should offer a continental breakfast upstairs rather than the hot breakfast in the downstairs restaurant.

Breakfast was nice and lots of variety! Nice size rooms with comfy beds. The bath was a good size for soaking and there was lots of hot water. The location was really fantastic for shopping!

There were gaps by the bath that had some concerning mold-looking issues...

I loved the interior design! It was very Japanese style but also modern. Spacious bathroom. Really appreciated the matcha set provided in the room.

A very warm and welcoming hotel in a brilliant location; very central to public transport and landmarks. The rooms are small (all in Japan are) but we’ll equipped and value-for-money overall was excellent. We very much enjoyed the lobby lounge with free coffee and hot chocolates

Very central hotel near good restaurants and attractions. The room was nice and had better storage than other hotels in japan. I liked that they had an eco friendly policy for cleaning and making up rooms. They also organised our luggage to be sent to Hakuba which was very helpful.

For the price it would have been good to have our option include breakfast- other hotels I stayed in Japan around the same price point offered this. The room and bed was small but thats standard for Japan.

Its location is fantastic, smack opposite unqilo/gu/loft and beside is a value dollar pharmacy and a supermarket down the road, i couldnt ask for more. Hotel is also very pretty and clean with plenty of amenities.

The size of rooms are small, but this is typical kyoto standard.

Location, entrance area and free Wellness items

First off. The small bedroom is so tiny that you can’t even open a suitcase. The size of 16m2 include bathroom, bedroom and all the furniture. Would guess the actual free space at max 3-4 m2 in total. Breakfast is not worth the money. It’s all about suitability, therefore they won’t clean your room during the stay (?) but they serve everything in one way paper cups. Looked better in the pictures.

Hotel muito bem localizado. Fica próximo da principal área comercial para turistas, com centenas de restaurantes e lojas acessíveis. Tem inclusive uma Don Quijote na mesma rua, um pouquinho mais a frente. Próximo também do Santuário Yasaka e do Templo Chion-in (caminhada de 15 minutos). Há estações de metrô e trem também muito próximas, tornando o acesso a atrações mais distantes muito fácil. Gostei do armário na recepção com escovas de dente, chá, toucas de banho e outros utensílios, dos quais os hóspedes podem se servir livremente. A estrutura do hotel é bastante nova e moderna. Creio que ele foi inaugurado em 2018, então está tudo reformado e novinho.

Não é exatamente algo negativo, mas uma informação que acho importante para quem está ponderando ficar no hotel: o Resol segue os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) da ONU, e por isso a rotina de limpeza dos quartos é bem diferente. A limpeza total (com arrumação das camas, limpeza do banheiro e retirada do lixo) ocorre apenas a cada 3 dias. Nos outros apenas é colocada uma bolsa com toalhas novas na maçaneta, nada mais. Isso não me incomodou, consegui manejar bem a organização e limpeza do quarto nos dias que não tive o housekeeping completo, mas pode gerar desconforto para alguns. Peguei um quarto duplo e ele era pequeno, mas nada absurdo para os padrões do Japão. Peguei um preço salgado para a classificação do hotel, mas entendo que isso provavelmente tinha mais a ver com a temporada em que fui (passei o Ano Novo em Kyoto) do que com o custo benefício do hotel em si.

Location was great. Room was nice with the tatami mats as well as the shade for the window. The hotel itself was pretty nice, with a nice entrance to the hotel, reception, and hallways.

Biggest major negative point is they DON'T CLEAN YOUR ROOM due to "ecological" reasons, which makes 0 sense. The very least they could do is enter the room to clean up and garbage, make the bed etc. instead of the guests having to put the garbage in a plastic bag and leaving it outside the room. I can understand if they don't want to always wash the bedsheets, but at least make up the room! Another big minus is the breakfast... absolutely terrible.

교토 세번째 방문이었고, 각 다른 숙소에 묵었었는데, 이번 숙소가 위치, 가성비 최고였음 객실은 일본답게 좁았지만 쉬는데 문제 없었음 창문 열면 약간의 소음은 있으나, 도심지라 이해는 됐음
