It is a 10 out of 10 place, because of the place, the environment, the lovely people, and the cute animals. My family and I felt like home there. I was sick and the Carla found a doctor for me. They are truly the one the kindest and most genuine people I met traveling. I wish you all the best from my heart

It’s a magical place out of a fairytale. Very quirky, very unique.
The hosts Neels and Carla are super warm and welcoming. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. There are games to play and books to read. The garden is just amazing. You could spend days wandering and relaxing.
The bedrooms windows led out to a conservatory, so there is no direct fresh air. It was a little stuffy.

Nice place with pea cocks walking around you. Carla met us with warmth and kindness. They have kitchen and fully-equipped barbecue place. The room was spacious and very nice.
For us it was a bit chilly at night. Also this place don't provide breakfast (but you can easily find one at caffe next door). The noise from peacocks can also disturb you.

Definitely need new pillows and maybe re- do the fabric on the ceiling... smelt a bit of mildew, but not too bad...

The location is amazing. I can't believe how beautiful the farm house is. There are dogs, beautiful peacocks, great art all over the place.
Carla upgraded us to the main house, she was super helpful.
I loved it but my family wasn't as happy as me :(
My mum didn't like the dogs coming inside the property, and in general she wasn't satisfied. I guess it's not a place that can satisfy everyone, but I loved it.

Very beautiful location.
The bed we slept in wasn't very comfortable, and there was some mould on the ceiling. The host was extremely friendly, and helpful.

Freedom of the property. Beautiful setting, forest and nature with lots of birds. Neels and Carla were fabulous hosts and always helpful. Peacocks were surprisingly quiet and curious. Loved them. Friendly, helpful and non-intrusive staff. Old favourites board and card games around the fire.
Loadshedding was relatively disruptive but a generator would ruin the entire experience.

We got the warmest welcome! Carla and Neels are very hospitable and want you to feel as much at home as possible. The surroundings made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The free roaming animals, the nature, the peace and quiet, all the little lights whenever it went dark, the many fire pits that were at our disposal... Whenever we walked around, we discovered something new.
The room description was very accurate and the hosts were doing their very best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for one of the best holidays we've had so far! So glad we stayed with you.

Loved the natural setting of the accommodation, it is truly a beautiful overall experience. I made friends with all the peacocks, I even fed them from my hand and there are baby peacocks all around...

Very friendly, informative hosts. Beautiful grounds.. Peacocks and super cute, friendly dogs in the garden. So much to do in surrounding areas - Ice Dream and Waterworld were two of our kids' favourite places in South Africa! We loved having a big fire in the fire pit in the evenings. The shared kitchen was well equipped.
The room was quite simple, but then it was great value for money so we're not complaining!
