The staff were extremely accompanying with our late flight

Amenities: GQ hotel has the items one needs for a comfortable stay. Accessibility: Nestled at the heart of the town, GQ hotel allows access to most vital places to go to, and essential resources. Affordability: Room rates are very affordable and reasonable. Comfort/ Privacy: GQ hotel has the best bed mattresses and pillows, allowing the comfort a traveler needs. Privacy of each guest is always respected. Staff Courtesy: Staff are always very cheerful and respectful. They’re very approachable and accommodating to each traveler/guests’ needs.

Lovely apartment, had basically everything we needed. Loved that drinking water was provided. Air conditioning was a life saver and the host was really helpful and answered my incessant questions in a good time frame. Signed up to gym at Savoy for the duration of the stay and you can use pool and other facilities there as it's a 3 min walk.

Pool wasn't working at Cluster D, but looked nice. Can use pool at other clusters but Savoy was so close and had a pool bar, so barely used it. Difficult to get an e trike sometimes due to distance from front beach, would have preferred if there was better communication between clusters and security at front gate to order E Trikes for easy transport as the hop on hop off bus was infrequent and could do with a tracking system or app etc... But most of these issues are not the fault of the owner, just general comments of ease of use

GQ Plaza is located in the middle of Kalibo and near the main cathedral, several museums and restaurants, making it a very convenient location for exploring the town. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to support and advise us to make the most of our trip and rooms had everything that could be expected and more.

The walls were a little thin, so I was woken up by traffic during the first morning, but I believe this is a common issue in all hotels in the Philippines.

Probably one of the best hotels l have stayed at. Very modern and clean. Superfast lift.

Nothing at all. Really recommend it to anyone.

Convenience and location

Not at fault of the hotel, but activities at the plaza were too loud until after midnight

I’m an Aklanon who just came back from abroad. I’d say that our hotels, the small ones in our country aren’t comparable with the little hotels in Europe. We could really feel at home almost whenever in the Philippines. And that’s what it felt like staying at GQ Hotel. Hospitality and assistance until getting into the room I checked in (which isn’t really needed). I also loved its location where I could witness the panoramic view of Kalibo, Plaza (where has been part of my growth from a college student to a professional medical practitioner) - quite nostalgic, I’d say. Almost everything is at its doorstep! Oh, I also loved the wall photos and the lobby. Promoting our country, esp Aklan! I loved it.

The aircon at room 310 isn’t as cold as the room 308 as I booked 2 rooms. I think it needs some cleaning (maintenance was there to check it) Above all, nothing I could complain.

I had to stay in Kalibo for personal reasons and needed to extend my stay a bit. Staff was very supportive. Restaurant (rooftop) is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located in the center of town.
