Dunster is an amazing little village with wonderful walks and a spectacular garden and castle! Little Dragons is in a wonderful location within a couple of minutes walk of everything.

The cottage is very well positioned close to the main Dunster high street and castle. It has very comfortable beds , lovely soft furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host Stuart , is very helpful and was quick to solve a problem we had with the water heating.

The Bells chime every 15 mins 24/7 . This was not clear when we booked via the site. It would disturb a light sleeper ( like myself) . The shower was fixed and good power but my 6ft3 husband was too tall and had to crouch under it. Also disappointed bathroom was on the ground floor , and the stairs are extremely steep so a challenge if you are a bit sleepy and have to go for a wee in the night! Our biggest disappointment was there was absolutely no safe outdoor space that we could let our dog out first thing/last thing at night. we had to get dressed to take him out as soon as he woke up. The communal garden was at the end of the row of cottages and overgrown. There was a notice that there was a bee problem and so we didnt risk it with our dog. Parking is very hit and miss , but generally we found somewhere even if it was further up the hill.

The bathroom had mould around the skirting boards & radiator, needs refurbishment. Garden was at the end of the row of cottages overgrown not really that pleasant. The living room decor & brown carpet was a bit depressing & the tv was small & basic.

Perfectly located cosy well equipped cottage right in the heart of historic Dunster. Wonderful walks in all directions right from the door. The cottage had everything we needed and very comfortable. Stuart helpfully provided lots of info prior to our visit. Local jam, tea, coffee and hot chocolate awaited our arrival. Loads to see and do in the area and was nice to visit out of the peak season

The location of the cottage is very central in the village and was not too difficult to find. The host gave instructions on where the cottage was located and where parking could be found. The cottage has a lovely wood burning stove and the front door is a stable door (split door). The two bedrooms upstairs were of a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and located on the ground floor with the bathroom. There is no outdoor space but there was a separate laundry room. All in all, this is a very comfortable traditional cottage in a great location.

Parking is a bit restricted around the village and you may find yourself parking in the larger National Trust car park on the entry road to the village until you find more parking around the village. This may mean a ten minute walk up to the cottage initially although this is fair considering the cottage is located within a medieval village. One problem is the ringing of church bells (appears to be an electronic recording of bells rather than actual bells) at 1am and 5am in the morning. This happens every day and if you are a light sleeper or like to sleep with the window open, you may find yourself awakened early in the morning.

The owner was very friendly and spent a lot of time on the phone making recommendations. Location was great.

there was no problem with breakfast as we did ourself, the kitchen equipment was very clean, however the fuse went off when we wanted do make dinner. we did like the fireplace and we very please to light it up we had a problem with wi-fi but without it we had more time to enjoy our presence.

everything was really good, only my friend who slept from the backyard did not like the bells which were on every 30 min and disturb her nights if there were more wood for fireplace, it would be better i left my scarf and it was a present from my daughter and if there is any chance i can get it back i would be delighted
