Contacted by phone using the number provided in the confirmation the answer was always The number you have called is switched-off. Please try again later. Our repeated request sent by email to provide us with a valid number we not answered. The same asking how to find the location. The confirmation states Royal Road Riambel Mandir Road. Our understanding was that as the crossroad of these two street the apartment shold be. This is not the case. To find the villa you have to go to a side road and then in an unpaved zig-zak to the villa. It took us about 2 hours to find it. Without local people we would have no chance to find it We anounced our arrival for about 6 pm. The hosts arrived 6.30 pm The statement that the villa is located on a private beach is completely wrong. Pointed out to the owner he diclared it as mistake, but the villa would have a private access to the beech. We cannot confirm neither. The first evening we were confronted by a meter hight fire set by the neibours leading to agresive discussion with police and fire fighters. The villa gave us the impression to be in prison rather then in holiday. All doors and windows were locked by iron grating (3 padlocks each window/door). We got about 30 keys! And we were instructed to lock all padlocks whenever we leave. After our arrival the host emtyed the fridge and through everything (including icecream) in the litter box in the kitchen – not outside in a ton, i.e. Not very hygienic. We had been in 8 accomodations in Mauritius. In non of them we had the little brown bettles. Here we had them in the kitchen, the bathroom and bedroom. This villa was the only place on the island we felt not good.

Perfect Location and beautiful villa. Very clean and comfortable. Apparently awesome staff behavior if you are from abroad. But.. The owners behave very strangely with Mauritians.. They say outwrite that they don't lend the villa to Mauritians, the moment they saw our faces. They seemed genuinely confused. Plus if you are Mauritian.. Even if you have cleaned the villa before you leave and put all the trash neatly in garbage plastic bags outside of the villa.. They make you take the trash with you. So even if the location and villa is perfect.. Be ready to leave with a bitter aftertaste.. If you are a Mauritian. But again.. If you are a tourist.. This is the best place.

It feels like the host family still lives in the house with you, the toilet in ground floor is terrible, used toothbrush and toothpaste in second floor, they offer towels but quite worn. During our stay they were taking some renovation of the wall and promised it would be quite, some how we were waked up by the noise at about 7 in the morning. We parked our car next to the pool and piles of tiles, after we leave we found scratches on the back seat window but no one can explain that. Plus, this is also the only place had mosquitoes over all our stays.

The Owner was very friendly and very helpful ( the best). My kids loved the pool. Location is very quiet.
