A Summer Place was a wonderful home. We loved the central location on the lake. Rooms were perfect. Great for two families with 2 rooms upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. The kids loved the bunk beds. Great flat yard also.

the pictures are dated and dont show much of the added odd taxidermy to include a Rooster and basket of chickens. Old and Dingy place. the minute you walk in it smells musty. My infant son immediately began sneezing and became nasally. we had to leave early.

After almost 25 years of owning a lakefront home in Lake Toxaway I was ready to sell and become a renter. This house was wonderful for my large family and accommodated all of us for our meals. We loved having access to the LTCC and we enjoyed being able to dock a boat at the house too.

This was a fabulous location on the lake directly across from the marina and Lake Toxaway Country Club. The property was clean and well maintained. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee or cocktail and enjoying the view was delightful. There was even an office off the primary bedroom with space for my husband to work. We would definitely recommend this house!

Every aspect of our experience was fantastic. Initial questions about properties, amenities, etc.. - easy communication. Someone reached out a week in advance to confirm we did not want access to the club - we had forgotten so that was above and beyond our expectation. The property was well kept and on a great spot near the center of the lake. We had a total of 4 couples but could easily have had more. The kitchen and grill are fully functioning and easy to cook for a crowd. You could not ask for more in a rental property.

This house is so perfect. It's absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfect for two families of four. We will def return. The marina was amazing, dockhands were great. We loved grabbing Greystone Inn for dinner. It was a great experience overall.
The only frustrating part of our vacation has nothing to do with the house, so will def give the house 5 STARS, it truly is a dream property. It is nice that the house comes with the option for a club membership, which we purchased. The frustrating thing is, though, that if you go to the pool they charge $15 per person, per day. That doesn't sound bad, but with four kids under 9 years old we stay at the pool for prob 60-90 minutes (to grab lunch or dinner) before we are ready for a change of scenery, so it's frustrating to have to pay $120 (per day) on top of the membership charge to use the pool. We were referred to "the binder," however w four kids we aren't exactly laying back reading manuals. Just a heads up, but this house was really amazing, we loved it and will def be back!

The site is very quiet and all you can hear with the windows open is birds and cool breezes. This house was perfect for a family getaway. Plenty of room to spread out and being right on the lake was so beautiful. Lots of great hiking trails to waterfalls within a few miles and we even saw a baby bear on our drive home one day. Great week with our family celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. Location was perfect just across the water from the Inn. We rented a boat from Tony at the marina for the week and they were also excellent. Only thing I would recommend are new mattresses on the bunk beds downstairs. We had a little issue with the hot water heater, but the rental company were right on top of it with a quick response. The kitchen could use a little updating, but you don't rent this house for the kitchen. All about the location- perfect.

We had a great stay at A summer place. There were some small items that did not work throughout the house, but nothing that was material. The ice maker was the biggest. We will definatley come back. Some additional buoys on the dock would be helpful as that spot gets a lot of boat traffic.
