À quelques minutes d'une rampe de mise à l'eau publique juste à côté de l'autoroute 44, à quatre milles du Ritz Carlton et à un mille de Cuscowilla. Arrivez d’Atlanta ou d’Athènes en un peu plus d’une heure ou d’Augusta en une heure et demie et vous êtes certain d’échapper au tohu-bohu de la vie quotidienne.
La maison est entourée de grands chênes et est séparée de la rue calme par une cour de la taille d’un terrain de football. De grands arbres bordent le lac où vous pouvez suspendre votre hamac et profiter de la brise relaxante du lac. La cour arrière est plate et clôturée, ce qui empêche les enfants et les animaux domestiques surveillés de rester à l'écart du lac lorsque les adultes ne sont pas entendus. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property which is nestled nicely in a quaint cove. The house is very clean with comfy beds. Easy access to the boat dock and our dogs loved the backyard. The outside needs some attention but didn’t deter us from being outdoors. We’d be happy to stay here again.

We really enjoyed your home. The view was beautiful and the path to the dock was accessible for all. The only issue is if you can not climb a ladder on the dock you are not able to get in or out of the water. We will consider your home again in the future.

Beautiful Weekend Beautiful Home
Our family recently had the opportunity to rent out this beautiful home on Lake Oconee for our mother's 70th birthday celebration. Joni and her husband couldn't have been kinder in the process and have built such a wonderful place for anyone to stay. All the beds and furniture were very comfy. There's a great kitchen & grill if you'd like to cook at home and also a very nice fenced-in backyard. The dock is a great place to hang out and let the kids play in the water and I know would be great to dock up to if you have a boat or are renting from a local vendor who allows the boat to travel to the house. Unfortunately, Young Harris has boundary lines that cut off at a nearby bridge overpass. The drive to Young Harris is only about 8 mins from the house so this did not ruin the great time we had on the lake or the experience we had at the Aden home or with Young Harris!!! There are also many other vendors in the area that rent boats, so I would call around to make sure the boat can travel to the home if you're planning on docking. At night there's a beautiful fire pit for smores and can see stars for days. The drive to local restaurants is very short and while we didn't make it the drive to historic Madison, GA is only 30 mins away. The Aden's home I would highly recommend to anyone looking for some time on beautiful Lake Oconee and a beautiful time with family, thank you Aden's!!! Happy travels!!!

Great Stay!!!!
This place was just perfect for us. 4 adults+2 Kids (8 and 10) + dogs. Large fenced in yard let the kids and dogs play safely. Dock let us fish and rent pool toys (boat/jet skis/paddle boards) for lot fun. House sits nicely on the lake with awesome views. Neighbors were extremely friendly. Communications with the owner (Joni) where fast and very helpful. Bottom line-will be back

After renting several homes on this lake we will definitely be renting this property again. Very comfortable and spacious with everything you need. Only suggestion is to bring extra paper products. This property is close to everything many restaurants and Publix grocery store. We were happy to see tv’s in each room. I find many homes don’t offer tv’s in bedrooms, that’s something I look for when renting. We have a pontoon boat we were able to leave at a very large well maintained dock. Plenty of room to fish or just enjoy the view.

The light switch in the kitchen was an electrical problem waiting to happen. Beds were great, no garage opener to be found as indicated, Heinz 57 for mis matched pots and pans. The flash lights provided on the counter were dead and of no use. The master tub when used spit out crude and dirt. We would do it again but would connect with the host to make sure we totally understood what to expect.

Its is a nice lake home. Fenced in yard for dogs was a requirement for us. Lots of trees for shade on a quiet part of the lake. On a paved street . Close to Grocery store, CVS, and gas station. Marina was 5 minutes away. Freedom Boat club was about 10 minutes away..

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The house is located a few short miles from the launch ramp, and restaurants. The street is quite and neighbors are friendly. The cove is perfect for kids learning new tricks behind a boat or jet ski. Joni is super helpful and responsive. My only suggestion is to bring plenty of flashlights. They will be helpful on overcast nights if you plan to enjoy the fire pit or dock.

The location was great. Beds are comfy. Truly had everything there but the food, so well equipped. Quiet, great fenced yard, dock area and fire pit. Easy ride to shopping and restaurants. Outside needs a little TLC as it has many spiderwebs and birds nests in entryway. (bird made it in with us while unloading the car. :-) But overall a very nice property.

The house was great to stay at and Joni was the most responsive host I've ever worked with at VRBO. Easy to bring our boat on the dock and was great for our dog too with the fenced in backyard. The only thing to keep in mind is you'll have to bring your trash with you when you leave. Besides this, it was a great experience and would highly recommend.
