Magnifique à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, Nauti Buoys est une merveilleuse maison de vacances avec de nombreuses améliorations, notamment un sol en bois stratifié dans la grande salle, la salle à manger et le salon. La cuisine bien équipée a des comptoirs en granit et des armoires mises à jour. 6 chambres à coucher (dont 3 King Masters) et 5 bains et demi, avec draps et serviettes fournis. La plupart des salles de bains ont été rénovées, y compris de nouvelles installations. Les 9 téléviseurs sont des écrans plats. La salle de jeux avec table de baby-foot procure du plaisir pour des vacances réussies en famille. Option spa et piscine chauffée. Parfait pour les escapades de printemps ou d'automne!

We love OBX, and we also know after many years renting homes there are bound to be hiccups. Overall the home was clean, we were able to check in early, pool size was nice and enjoyed free pool heat loved Hot tub and close to beach access. Unfortunately we had a few more issues such as underneath sink leaking ruining our detergent pods, the pool and hot tub were never cleaned during our stay so we had to clean it and fill with hose, the grill was too dirty to use and we had to ask for new propane tank. The master bedroom on top floor toilet made loud sounds when you flushed so we had to call for that as well. The kitchen has minimal supplies. The bottom level has an issue with some bugs that were everywhere so we did not use that level. The good news is the maintenance came out promptly to fix or patch fix and was very friendly.

The property overall is nice, but it needs to have some updates. There were not kitchen hot pads, pans were lacking and in bad shape. Dishwasher was broken the entire time. Hot tub was not working and had a short in the writing. The pool was n no it maintained and cleaned. We had no broom for sweeping, dog hair was in clumbs around on the stairs and under the furniture, remote controls were missing from rooms for the tvs. The fan was broken in the room with two double beds, the storm door had a piece of metal that caught a foot and cut it. The ice maker was not efficient. The situations were reported on the daily and we had only two things repair led during our stay. Hot tub was a major disappointment.

For full disclosure, we booked this place at the last minute when our previously booked stay had a major issue one week prior to our trip. Pros:The house is a very good size for our group (9 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog). We were very happy with the amount of seating, bathrooms, and general utilities available in the home (washer/dryer, outdoor shower, kitchen appliances). The pool was excellent to have. There is a hot tub but it was too hot out for us to use it. The location is amazing, with just a short 2-block walk to the beach (and not a crowded beach at all!)Cons:This property really needs some love. Bathrooms have broken to dispensers and rusty curtain holders, a lot of broken blinds, and other small fixes. For major issues, the gutters don’t drain to the ground but instead dump directly onto certain parts of the upper deck, causing serious rot to the wood. While it rained, the older deck sections were very spongy and while dry were full of splinters. The lower deck sections don’t offer much shelter when it rains as a result. The grill, while a nice addition, really needs to be replaced. It is exceptionally dirty and we had to put foil down to do any grilling so our food didn’t stick. They also don’t provide enough toilet paper for the size of the house nor did they provide any hand soap, so make sure you bring those items or purchase some. Same for trash bags, sponges, and other household consumables. We also had an issue with the wifi when we checked in and we’re unable to get a response from the office until the following morning. Luckily this was just a simple fix (the router plug was inky half in the socket), but points to an issue with checkin being later than the offices are open.Overall this was a decent stay considering we had to rebook in a pinch. For the money, I would probably stay somewhere else next year. This home is clearly a bit rundown compared to the others in the neighborho

The home is well situated a block from the beach and is quite large. The home was nice and clean, with an appropriately stocked kitchen. The kitchen/living room/dining room area was perfect for our large family. The property is super close to the Food Lion and several restaurants and grocery stores. Pool and hot tub were great for days we didn't want to go to the beach.The property management was quick to reply to a very minor issue during check in, and they had frequent automated text communication to check in.We had a few small issues and one large maintenance issue during our stay, and although technicians came out right away, communication directly from the property management company or owners could have been better, as there was mixed information from the different individuals.All in all, I would recommend the home again if the maintenance issues we shared are properly addressed.

It is a nice house, but appears to have been abused and neglected by mgmt. Upon arrival we were unable to enter with the keyless entry. We gained access through a sliding glass door that had been left unlocked, only to find house cleaning in progress. I called to let mgmt know of the door problem, and maintenance came shortly after. He forced the lock open with a putty knife and said it was all fixed...until that evening when it quit working again. We tried using the front door and fared no better. It was hard to open and harder to lock and unlock. (Knob was replaced) Putting sheets on the beds was a fun game! One room had no sheets/towels, (eventually found outside in bin) 1king had queen sheets, and 2 queens (the room with the roach on the wall) had full sheets. Called to ask for sheets that fit and was told linen co would get them right out. Never arrived.Another call brought maintenance back on Monday to address keyless entry. Spent considerable time and couldn't diagnose problem. Said keypad needed to be replaced and would follow up next day. Never saw him again.Also reported broken bed on Monday. (6" slant on corner) Note on door Weds "came to fix bed". We were all home all day and never heard anyone at the door. Had already fixed bed ourselves. Vents/intake ducts were caked with dust, bin of dirty linens sat at front door the entire week, what appeared to be the remains of a dead bird in the corner by the front door was being eaten by maggots, bugs, huge spiders, cobwebs, etc all around entryway, multiple outdoor sockets and speakers didn't work, unable to find switch for lights in/around pool, floors were absolutely filthy, broken leg on chair in bedroom, (collapsed when sat on) no shower curtain liner in one master bath. We did greatly appreciate, enjoy, and want to thank the owners for the cheesecake and the note. It was very thoughtful.With some TLC and a very thorough cleaning, this could be a very nice house.Pics a ava

Rental experience was ok, the maintenance was lacking. Deck furniture was sparse and many pieces were broken. Ice maker was broken. The bathrooms had mold and one bedroom was not cleaned (trash left on the floor and in dresser.)

Upon arrival found home to be clean and as listed and pictured. A couple of days into visit after doing some lighthouse trips went to use hot tub and found it not working. The maintainence staff tried for 3 days to fix issue. Other than that home is roomy close to beach and we would stay again, I'm sure the hot tub will be ready for future guest.

The house was wonderful. We loved having the pool and hot tub, especially because the ocean was a little cold during our stay. The house was clean and we were happy with the location. We also appreciated the cheesecake, it was delicious! The only problem was the Cat coat hanger in the kitchen entrance area. I cant tell you how many times someone caught something on those or hit a hip on that, might want to think about moving that particular decor elsewhere. Other than that, it was a great stay! Thank you!

Our 4th time renting in Corolla and unfortunately service with this company was lacking. Many calls made with numerous issues that needed servicing such as no hot water in the house, no pool heat when we paid extra to heat the pool. No refund or oppology for the pool heater issue. The house is in decent shape and great location but we were disappointed with the management company's response to our inquiries.

There was 20 of us with kids between 8-19. House set up was great. Beds were comfortable. Top level: Table was gross! Sticky and peeling paint everywhere. Dishwasher was not attached to cabinet and we believe there must be a leak because the lazy Susan cab next to it smelt. Pots and pans need replacing. Furniture on this level needs replacing everything was dirty and uncomfortable. Mid level King peach room no overhead light, no toilet paper holder, shower curtain & liner were disgusting. Privacy film should be put on bathroom window. Many of the dressers in the house had broken drawers. Deck is in serious need of sanding and paint. 3 out of 4 spotlights over pool we’re out and aside from lights by front door there were no lights to light under deck/ driveway area. Have good size backyard that could use some outside games and a fire pit. In need of outside furniture by the pool. All 20 of us would be out by the pool and there wasn’t anywhere near enough seating for us. Overall we had a great time here and didn’t reach out to have anything taken care of because it should have been taken care of before renters get there. Would seriously suggest hiring a better cleaning and maintenance company because they aren’t doing their job. They should be doing through inspections and taking care of issues before renters arrive. I rated 4 stars for communication with property manager because we didn’t reach out to them but we did receive emails and text messages about the house and keyless entry code.

The house needs some love and care.The outside deck are in terrible condition and need to be painted.Very little furniture on all 3 decks.The upstairs furniture was dirty and needs to be replaced.Kitchen needs a complete redo .The dishwasher needs to be screwed in on both sides it fall out of the walls.The only saving grace for our large family was the beds were all very comfortable and the beds rooms on the second floor were all redone.The pool was great and kept in good shape.The game room area was terrible and the whole place smelled like mold.We discovered it was coming from a large hole in the bathroom ceiling which was never taken care of.The location was great and even with our dissatisfaction of our place we all had a great time in the outer banks

Easy ride south to Duck or North to 4x4/Carova Beach. The pool is a great size. Hot tub stopped working mid-week, but it was up and running again 13 hrs later after company sent someone out to check on it. With that being said, the house itself was a bit disappointing. Layout was great for us (14 adults/teens and 2 small children), living room open and bright, but we found the house to have a lot more wear and tear then we believe to be acceptable. Ex: one of kitchen light fixtures in need of repair as it hangs by internal wire, significant rust noted on numerous shower rods, storm door on third level deck that will not close fully (scary with kids), but most upsetting was ground floor bathroom has a large hole cut out in ceiling above shower head from previous repair. Within first 24 hrs I reached out Beach Realty with these concerns. I received a response within an hour and they asked if I would prefer to have these concerns addressed during my stay or upon my departure. Although especially annoyed regarding the hole in ceiling above shower head, we decided it would be too much to have multiple people in and out to fix all these different things while we tried to enjoy the week. Who doesn’t complete a repair on a rental? Pros: location, kids loved playing Wiffle ball and corn whole in back ‘yard’, new addition to second floor nicely done, kitchen has all the silverware you need (may need to bring any fancy kitchen utensils but they stock the basics), plenty of room to both hangout in large groups or find some space to enjoy alone. Cons: that darn whole in ceiling, going one day without the hot tub, white porch swing pictured above no longer in use which was a bummerUnfortunately we will not be staying here again. The house was nice enough.Took them 3 days to fix fridge,kept shutting off about every hour,had to keep a close watch on it and take stuff downstairs.Which was up an down 2 flight of stairs every time.Dryer vent needed cleaning,clothes wouldn't get dry.Found a container with baked brownies in it.Cleaning service didn't do a very good job.Top of one of the crispers in the fridge was completely missing.Told them about it even took a picture an sent it to them.Pool people never came out,I thought they were supposed to come in the middle of the week.We had no chlorine tablets to put in the hot tub.Started to look a little funky in the middle of the week.

Overall weather was better than expected. The deck boards on the house need replaced, make sure you wear shoes on them as we experienced two splinters. Everyone will benefit from the dryer being vented outside as we discovered that it was just venting under the steps and not connected to the outdoor vent. It is now connected to the outdoor vent and thank goodness it was electric and not gas. Overall fairly clean but you do get dog hair on your socks sometimes.

Our family and dog visited for a week in April. The house was one block from the beach, worked for our needs including much needed heated pool and hot tub given cool temps that time of year. Virtual check in option was fantastic. There were two issues we experienced leading to our not recommending the property. The first is we couldn’t reach the management company before or during the stay. The second and more disturbing was over 20 2+“ nails and screws found littered all over decks, the pool, near the grill, etc. this was a HUGE safety hazard especially with family members and pets walking barefoot daily. Really disappointed at the lack of attention to detail and disregard for safety by ownership. We’ll be back to OBX, just not to this property.

Our family and dog visited for a week in April. The house was one block from the beach, worked for our needs including much needed heated pool and hot tub given cool temps that time of year. The house showed some wear & tear - the handle to open the microwave was broken off, and multiple shelves in the microwave were also broken, making the shelves unusable. The house was otherwise fine.

Nauti Buoys is a very nice house. Everything was quite clean. Living area is spacious and sunroom is nice if you need more space. Pool area was fun and the pool is a good size for a large group. Location near Bonito St made it easy to get in and out of Whalehead. We had a great week and the house had all we needed. Sunday travel was much easier than Saturday.

What a wonderful stay in Corolla NC. Beach was so close and easy to access. This area was convenient to everything you need, grocery stores, gas station, restaurants,. I would highly recommend Nauti Buoys for a wonderful vacation stay. House was clean and had everything you would need. Great pool area as well as nice hot tub.

There were a few positive aspects about this house, especially the pool. However, the kitchen was very poorly stocked; no cutting board, pot holders, lack of cooking utensils, etc. The bottom doors on both refrigerators fell off. The kitchen sink backed up. The drawers in most bedrooms didn’t close properly. The decks needed power washing. And so on. It’s a shame because with a little effort, this could be a really great house.

The rental company was great. Pleasant to deal with and quick to help. The home was not as expected based on the pictures. The home needs work. Decking is cracking and needs new paint or stain, there was only one lounge chair by the pool and it was broken (pictures on web shows more), the house had siding falling off, there was an infestation of bugs/crawlers on the bottom level, kitchen wasn't very well equipped (lacking cooking utensils, complete measuring cups/spoons, knives, etc. Location was nice, good privacy. Suggest the owners spend some time updating the home. furniture was worn out. I'll be probably be looking for another home to stay in next year.

It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and the heated pool was great (although a little algae build up that should have been cleaned given it’s early in the season). The house is exceedingly worn, dated and dirty. The furniture was severely stained, chipped and peeling paint on the dining room table and the deck needed to be refinished (nails and sharp edges galore). The bottom level is overrun with bugs. Every morning there were at least a dozen to kill. There was dusk everywhere - on the floor, fans, etc. The house also lacked basic everyday essential accommodations (pot holders, scissors, etc). Those that are there are worn, dated, and honestly a little gross. It’s a house by the beach. That’s about it.

We had a great week at this house. The house is set up well for group meals and plenty of space for everyone to gather at the pool (the pool needs more sun/lounge chairs for sunbathers). The inside and outside of the home is very well kept and tidy. Great spaces for people to get a break from the group as well if needed. The rental agency was wonderful to work with and the keyless entry was a breeze for check in and check out.
The kitchen could use more cooking utensils and items like storage containers & measuring spoons.
We loved the proximity to the beach, attractions, dining and shopping. Overall a great value and an excellent experience!

We had 9 adults and 4 teenagers with us on our trip. Had plenty of space with room to spare. The personalization from the owners of the home was a wonderful touch. The only issue (minor) was there were not enough bath towels for all of us. This was just a possible mis-hap with the dry cleaners - not a reason that would keep us from returning. Walking distance (1.5 blocks) from beach entrance. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Privacy from the neighbors. Would recommend for a great vacation!

All in all it was a great visit to OBX and Nauti Buoys. The good fall weather helped alleviate some of the little annoyances in the house.
The beach house was close to the beach, a 7 minute walk.
Bedrooms were nice and roomy, and the available beach gear and toys were a nice touch too.
We took full advantage of the free bagels voucher on the fridge - yum!
Despite being off-season, there were enough restaurants nearby and many of them were open and accommodating.
Upon arrival we were surprised to not have any toilet paper on hand. Linens and towels had been left in boxes in front of the home. That said, we should have inquired if beds would be made prior to our arrival and if some tp rolls would be available - we had unknowingly had both at other beach houses we've stayed in. Nest thermostat did not have a manual accessible, so it took us some time on Day 1 to figure it out.
We requested the heated pool option but it didn't seem to have been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were insects on the surface and leaves at the bottom of the pool. Since we paid for pool heat and the pool seemed colder than expected, we followed up with the rental agency on Day 1 and 2. On Day 2 pool service was dispatched. It was explained that 'heated' meant the water temp would be 6 to 7 degrees higher than the air temp. We followed up on Day 3 and the pool representative explained the temp was 84F, on the heater, but he didn't check the pool water temp. If we could do it over again we would not opt for the heated pool option in the fall and use the jacuzzi exclusively.
Luckily we identified a loose second floor deck railing. The realty office dispatched a worker quickly and it was attached securely promptly. Otherwise, we found some wear & tear on furniture and house, some non-functioning sockets.

My friends and I had a great reunion at Nauti Buoys! This property is the perfect distance to the beach, and offers a nice amount of privacy around the pool and hot tub area.The hot tub and pool are huge!The company was great to work with and flexible when we wanted to extend our stay. There are plenty of outdoor seating options at this house- the two levels of deck were amazing! Note- you can't see the ocean from the house, but you get great views of the sunset and sunrise! And, you're easy walking distance from a beach access.
Our only complaints:
-Kitchen wasn't super well-equipped. The pots and pans, coffee maker, and storage options need updating.
-The listing makes it look like there are two rooms with two queens in them, but there is only one.
-We paid for the pool to be heated when we got there, but it was not. We had to do it ourselves.

The ground floor bedroom had been flooded the week before we arrived. We were notified that there would be workers there to restore it on Mon - Tues at the latest. Instd, we had workers there Mon-Wed and again on Friday. Our guests, who arrived on Wed to use the room, were very inconvenienced on Wed & Friday. While given a $500 rebate for not being able to use the room two days, we were really unable to fully use it for four days. The ground flr bathroom was not cleaned well even after Kristy sent someone out to do so - lots of hair found in shower and on ledge. On Thurs, my adult daughter found a dry, blood soaked tampon under her bed that obviously hadn't been found from the cleaning crew before we moved in. Kitchen needs better pans & pot holders. Lots of plates and silverware which was nice. Two sets of sheets (one king and one queen)were wet and moldy when the packages were opened on Sunday. We washed them on Tuesday after the washer and dryer were reconnected & useable. Kristy was very helpful when we arrived and found our entry code didn't work and when a cleaner was requested. We were lucky to have very nice weather for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the pool with our children and 3 grandsons.
