Booked for a weekend with friends and the house was great. Very clean and spacious. Had a little trouble with the code they sent and they had to send us another once we got there but not a huge deal. Only other thing is that you aren’t directly in the hillside above the lake like I thought the pics made it seem, you’re across the street. But again not a huge deal. Overall nice and accommodating home!

This house had plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Highlights included the gas fireplace, hot tub, and deck. Close to Wisp and with community access to the lake not too far away. The overall feel is fairly private and secluded, but you're only a few minutes away from most attractions in the area. If you want lake front access then this might not be the best choice, but it was close enough for us.

We had a wonderful stay. A few very minor things were off (like microwave door that wouldn't close, cabinet handles being loose, and TVs a but blurry) ... but the location was excellent and the view from the top porch was great.

House is great—layout is a great use of space. Despite an open family room, sound did not carry—lots of space for everyone but still have privacy. The only reason I did not give all stars is the dishwasher desperately needs to be replaced. The gasket came on & has holes in the silverware basket. The stove top only had 2 of the 4 burners working. The only tip I would give guests is be sure you have 4 wheel drive if coming in the winter. The driveway is steep & we had ice & snow making it a challenge to get up (we made it in 4 wheel low).

House was great, family loved it. Only complaints everyone had were the driveway being very steep and the boat dock being far. Its very hard to access the dock if you have small kids or elderly as the hike to the dock is not the easiest. Other then that the house it self was very clean and spacious.

If you're not too persnickety about things being super clean, this is an ideal house for a nice family or large group vacation. Pros: This house is perfect for 5 or 6 couples or large, close families. Big bedrooms; plenty of bathrooms; large kitchen and "hang out" areas. There are plenty of spots for folks to be together AND get away from one another. Great, quiet area of Deep Creek but not too far away from activities, restaurants, etc. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were bright and big. Very well equipped kitchen; clean and maintained appliances. Furniture in living spaces could use an update but they were comfortable enough. Cons: This beautiful house needs a lot of maintenance of the outside spaces and some deep cleaning of the inside. The deck was dirty and COVERED with webs. The outside furniture DID NOT look safe to sit on and in fact, my hubby jumped up off of one of the Adirondack chairs after being poked with a rather large splinter. The screened-in porch had a few ripped screens and I swear there were "varmints" in there at one point or another. The view is adversely affected by some of the tree growth in the front of the house - trim these a bit and you have an amazing view of the lake and surrounding hills. The inside could definitely use a bit of maintenance as well. Clean or replace the carpets - this gave a house that appeared clean a "dirty" feel. For goodness sake, put a dehumidifier in the basement! The downstairs space was exquisite but smelled SOOOO musty; a dehumidifier would solve that fast! Consider putting a king size bed in that upstairs, front bedroom. It has an amazing view and is definitely big enough. It's better to have a bed that is too big instead of one that is too small. Besides, the listing makes it look like there are 3 king size beds instead of just 2.

This house was great, very clean and well kept. Enough Room for everyone. The House isn't directly on the lake, rather across the street. Since it's sits high on the mountain you still have a beautiful view of the water. It was just down the street from Wisp which was extremely convenient for our winter weekend. Would highly recommend, looking forward to our next stay.

Stayed in Ponte Vista this past weekend with a group of friend and had a lovely time. The house was warm and very homey. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and lots of games to play. The grill was very dirty, we called Property Management and they quickly came by and gave us new grilling tools to clean with. The bed pillows need to be updated and the upstairs couches had very flat pillows, not very comfortable. The hot tub was spot on and we spent a lot of time in the it - given the chilly weather. All in all, was a great experience and we would definitely stay at this home again.

The kitchen was as stocked as mine at home and had everything you may need to make anything! We did "Friends-giving" which included a turkey with all the sides :) The pool table was also a big draw for us. Bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. If your looking for a great weekend getaway - look no further and book this house. You won't be disappointed

The home is located about a block from the lake with a nice view, was surrounded by trees which provided privacy and was smartly decorated throughout. It was reasonably clean, though there was some hair in the shower and I don't think anyone had ever swept the deck before. THE VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR, however, the community doc was so far away and down such a steep hill, we couldn't get our kids or coolers down to our boat (very misleading in the listing). The beds were hands down the most HORRIBLE beds (every single one). Everyone was miserable sleeping which is why we will not rent this home again. It has potential to be amazing with a little TLC and new mattresses as well as a clear and accurate description of the dock location, so no one is surprised by how difficult it is to access. Property management was fantastic and very attentive to our needs.

The hit wTer heater bbreaker was turned off. The hot tub was just broken... after 3 visits from the mgmt companies hot tub guru over 48 hours, he fixed it. We were only able to use it our last night in the house. Finally on the last morning, the satellite controlled lock on the front door (no keys provided), locked us out with several hours left on our rental. TaylorMade needs to get it together for this homeowner.
