We stayed here for nearly two weeks and loved every day of it. The cabin had everything we needed to relax, cook holiday meals, and enjoy the property. Of note: we worked remote from here -- the internet/wifi was error-free, plenty of bandwidth for Zoom meetings.

Really, this is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at through VRBO. The setting is perfect, it is absolutely stocked with EVERYTHING you could ever want, and the owners are super responsive and very nice. We cant wait to come back - I already miss our daily seal visits. Really, if you want the best weekend away, choose this place.

Had a great time staying with the kiddos. We played on the beach, watched seals and had a fire. Kids only wished there was a hot tub at the property!

We had an amazing time staying in this beautiful place! We had coffee with the seals every morning and we can’t wait to come back!

Always such a wonderful stay - rain or shine! The cabin is cozy and very comfortable. The view is unbeatable. We enjoyed so many seals, sea lions, otters, & dolphins! Can’t wait to go back!

The house was great! The neighbors were pleasant, and being on the water was really neat and different for us Midwest folks.
I rated 4 stars for location, though I'm not sure there could be a 5 star location based on the area's geography... The drive in and out of the neighborhood was not the most convenient, and i think because we are from the Midwest i just assumed something different. Once we got our bearings of the area things flowed much more easily.

The property is exactly what we were looking for. Two toddler boys and needing to relax we couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect.
This cabin is the best overall family home we have ever stayed in.
We have already planned for returning for another get away soon.

A beautiful place to get away and spend time with loved ones. I recently moved to the Phoenix area and being here made me realize I never should have left the PNW.

My husband, 4 year old twins, our dog and I drove out from MN and spent two and a half weeks here. It was absolutely perfect! A beautiful home right on the water and so quiet and peaceful. My kids had a lot of fun with all the toys, books, crab shack and playset. The sandy beach down the street was perfect and we spent many hours there. We also saw a lot of seals and bald eagles right from the deck of the house. The location was also perfect for being able to do day trips to Seattle and the national parks. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Our family greatly enjoyed the cute house, property, Puget Sound, & all the little extras that were provided. I highly recommend & would love to visit again one day!

We have been here before and it is a great rental. See Orcas, seals , Otters and a abundance of wild life from the deck. Supper clean and great neighbors. No traffic and Quiet. Always a great time.

Our family met and stayed together here and fully enjoyed ourselves! Plenty of outside living area for everyone to be together or have some space. We fished off the deck at high tide, combed the rocks at low tide, and had an all around great time. Easy to hop on a ferry to get over to Seattle(or drive), easy to get to national parks, and nearby Port Orchard has all your shopping covered.
Inside has a stocked kitchen which we utilized for a few seafood dinners, with beautiful views out the windows across the Sound. We enjoyed the binoculars next to the windows for spotting things out in the water- including a curious sea lion who kept coming by to check on the kids. We BBQ’d and enjoyed the fire pit with seating nearly every night as well. Was a wonderful relaxing getaway at this peaceful retreat!

Your beach house is cozy, yet has all the necessary things for a perfect family vacation. It was amazing. Great memories!

We had a very enjoyable stay. It’s probably the best stocked rental we’ve ever been to. Beautiful views and very relaxing, especially the hammock. The swing set outside and the toys inside were perfect to occupy our two year old granddaughter when she and our daughter visited during the day from Tacoma. We were treated to a glowing full moonrise sparkling over the water on two nights. Sunrise is great too if you’re up. Watched all sizes of boat traffic including kayakers and saw an occasional seal. Missed the whales that others said came by one day. Walked the shore at low tides and were impressed by the community beach. Beds were comfortable. No complaints. We would definitely recommend staying here. Just carefully watch toddlers on the back deck steps.

This property is an incredible find! My husband, two young kids (5 and 8) and I visited for 3 nights and wished we’d booked for a whole lot longer! The home sits RIGHT on the water with the most amazing views. It’s so calm and serene. When the tide was in we enjoyed fishing off the deck and when it was out we combed the beach for treasures and played in the sand. Lots of seal sightings!
Upon arrival our kids basically disappeared to the Crab Shack/play structure (which is eye shot from the home and deck) which gave my husband and I an unusual amount of time to relax. This continued throughout our stay. There were all kinds of kids activities provided: kites, buckets/sand toys, kids books, blocks, train set, vehicles, etc.
The home is well stocked with the basics you’d expect plus quite a few pantry items/extras that aren’t typical for rentals. The host was wonderfully communicative and allowed us a late checkout.
We will 100% come back to rent this property again. Just bummed it’s booked already for this summer. Some people are going to be very happy with their decision!

Beautiful Location
1st time crabbing had a blast!
None of us wanted to leave 😢
There everything you need for the stay. The place is very clean and well treated. The view from house was amazing and relaxing. There also a keurig which didn't show in pictures. With pods to go with it. We loved it!!! I would love to come back.

Loved the layout of the house. It rained most of the time but still so gorgeous to sit in the living room with views. Ideal location for my 4 year old, so many kid amenities, crab shack play room, bunk room with toys, beach with a stream, swing set, and more. Would love to stay again.

Just as advertised. Clean and owners were great to work with!

Happy to call this cabin home for a few days. We appreciated the outdoor space for the littles. The chilly mornings didn't seem to deter them from exploring outside. We were excited for the tide to be down and the sun to be out one afternoon, so we were able to explore below the rocks in front of the cabin- so many little crabs to be found!

This quiet water front cabin is absolutely the perfect getaway from busy city life. It is extremely well stocked and has something for the whole family. We can't wait to come back.

The Fishing Cabin was even better than it was presented. Clean, well stocked, great location on The Sound, no traffic noise (no traffic) a playground and clubhouse for the kids. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was the best stocked I have seen. Great place and wonderful/respectful/available hosts. Hope to go back soon.

By far the best vacation rental we’ve stayed in! The location is perfect, it has plenty of room for a family of 5. We enjoyed fishing, clamming, watching the wildlife, the beach, everything. Everything was clean and well stocked. Thanks for a great stay. We hope to stay again someday!

My family had such a great time at this property. The house is so cute, and the deck is amazing. We sat around the fire pit each night to watch the moonrise, and sat on the deck each morning to watch the sunrise while we sipped on coffee. Communication with the hosts was easy and prompt. We’re already talking about our next trip to the Gone Fishing Cabin!

We really enjoyed staying the Gone fish cabin! My kids love to enjoy playing at the playground, crab shack, nearby sandy beach, and low tide beach. Like another review said, there was dog hair here and there. But over all, the place was clean and just so relaxed with great ocean view. There are also a lot of books and toys for kids as well! Highly recommend!

The pictures don't do it justice. I'd give them 10 stars is I could. The house is fully stocked, including coffee pods, towels, toiletries, games, puzzles, books....
Every day we watched a bald eagle, sea lions, deer and fawn run around.
The only negative is you are staying in someone's neighborhood. We had to listen to the neighbors (albeit super nice) do yardwork, their dog crapped on our lawn which we had to clean up and run some outdoor equipment. It was not a huge deal but definitely notable.
Will definitely be back here.

Peaceful Retreat
Loved this property for its quiet, serene location. Saw lots of eagles and seals. Place was one of the most well stocked VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. Very enjoyable!

This was our third time staying here. As always, the view, deck, and outdoor fire pit were spectacular and overall, we enjoyed our stay
The main issue was the cleanliness. Maybe our stay was an exception but the level of cleanliness was low. There was dog hair everywhere - on the floors, couches, outdoor cushions, etc. The dog hair was so bad on the outdoor cushions that we flipped the cushions over to find that it was even worse on the other side. Dishes were also really dirty, requiring us to hand clean everything ourselves. This is a common issue in VRBO 's with no dishwasher but the cleaners should spot check dishes, especially during COVID

This rental was everything we hoped for and more. It’s directly on the water, and when the tide is out you have your own private beach! The kids brought sleeping bags and camped out in the crab shack every night of the trip! The cabin was stocked with plenty of basic amenities, including lots of towels and toiletries. We came the first week of April and saw sea lions and orca whales! Lots of clams and crabs and the kids even found a starfish! Private location, but close to grocery and shopping if you need it. We’ll be back!
