Could’ve used some shade in backyard area and option to use garage. Not a lot of lighting outside back. Hot tub not secluded from neighbors (broken during stay anyway). Kitchen well stocked, cleanliness perfect where you need it (some cobwebs but who doesn’t have them). Master Bed SUPER soft, 1 liked it & other had sore back for remainder of stay. Perfect fenced yard for our 28 lb dog. Neighborhood deer visit each morning/dusk. Megan in office was fantastic! Personalized notes st house for us too.

This property was amazing. Ample windows and a nice deck for watching the waves crash over the rocks. The grounds were well manicured and the house was well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Even our dog had a crate designated specially for her. the furnishings were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, firewood....the list goes on! I highly recommend this property for any length of time. It's between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Plenty to do, or do nothing but enjoy the scenery. Four days was not enough!!!

There are a number of broken things that we need to be repaired that never get repaired, though they are not big deals. They did recently install two beautiful new showers and also new clear, non-fogged-up windows in the living room.

It took me a moment to become comfortable with the cliffside, however if you and your family observe the signage and use common sense, t would never be an issue. We saw whales, the lighthouse next door, lots of wildlife to spot and birds to see. We wished we could have allowed more time here to enjoy this beautiful property. Our hightlights to recommend - The Russian Gulch Trail (less than 1 mi away), easy walking and much to see. Dining in Mendocino - Good Life Cafe - wish we could go back and have one more cookie. Best breakfast in a long time. Trillium, will need reservation- unique , fresh wonderful dinner. Luna Trattoria, also do reservations, was wonderful Italian, carbonara -perfect. Visit to lighthouse. At the house - hot tub was great and views spectacular!

We'll be coming here for many years to refresh, relax, and renew. Some great reading nooks throughout the house. Not too far from "anything" in the area and just isolated enough to feel like you're the only ones around. Morning and evening walks around the neighborhood were great and everyone was very friendly. Excellent WiFi and TV support (we all know we need that...) The only disappointment we had was that all the wood was damp - not quite ready to burn (even though stored in the garage) and it made fires difficult to light and keep going. In January, its kind of a necessity :/ Still the best house rental we've had over the last several years and have already re-booked for next year.

The on line pics do not come close to the beauty of this coast property. The home is so warm and welcoming that it was very hard to leave. We couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate 3 major family milestones…60th bday, 80th bday and 60th anniversary.

The view of the ocean from this property is spectacular. the house is well maintained and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The only down side (and really just a learning curve on our part) is you have to close the blinds in the master bedroom. Not for privacy but the light house on the next point flashes right in. Oh and yes we did see whales :-)

The home was comfortable and clean, and the views will not disappoint! It was a perfect getaway for my family.

All of them having something to offer. We found the house to be perfect for the two of us and our little Maltese. We didn't go anywhere as we had one of the best spots on the Northern Coast to look at all day long. We were so taken with this little house that we've already made reservations for next year.

However, while the house is always very clean, many things have not been attended to, like broken window blinds, permanently fogged picture windows overlooking the ocean that have not been replaced for years, faulty kitchen faucet, etc.. These things are more than annoying.
