É um ótimo lugar para quem quer ficar sossegado. A Anfitriã é muito simpática e está sempre disposta a ajudar. O quarto é simples mas é bom. Tem uma boa cama. Tem água quente que é muito bom. O Café da manhã também é bom mas limitado.

Não tem nínguém para ajudar com as malas, não tem elevador e o quarto não tem ar condicionado. Nem todas as pessoas gostam de ventiladores.

Het bed was ondersteunt en dat was even los gegaan maar werd gelijk gemaakt.

Clean and comfortable room, location was good for access to beach with a pleasant 10 minute walk into the centre. Didn't get his name but the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant

Nothing really, the hotel sits on a plot surrounded by waste ground but many hotels are and the town is being developed quickly

I loved the short straight line walk to the beach, as well as being given a key for the main front door, which was kept locked at all times. As a solo female traveller, this gave me a lovely feeling of safety and security. Breakfast was excellent every morning.

There were two singular plugs provided in the entire room, with bedside lamps plugged in. One lamp was left plugged in, which only left a singular plug for my mobile and tablet, as well as the kettle and fan provided by the hotel. A kettle was provided, but no plug to use it. Reception told me to "take turns" using the plug. The hot tub, which was a factor in booking the hotel [for my arthritis], was out of service for the entire duration of my stay, with neither advance apology nor notification provided. The en suite had two hand towels but no bath towels. Opening my curtains, my view was of a washing line with laundry drying. I requested a blanket on my first night and was told there were no blankets. I asked a different member of staff the following day, and was given a blanket. Reception was not always there, and guests were advised to use WhatsApp to contact him. This I initially believed to be due to reading English being easier than speaking it, but then I began receiving responses written in Portuguese. My flight was departing in the middle of the night, so I would not be using my breakfast provision on my final morning. I asked for a friend to join me the penultimate morning, and was refused. The hotel would not allow me to use the breakfast I would not have [as I would be checking out pre-breakfast] on a friend. And I had paid for it.

Absolutely recommended. Outside the tourist areas this small hotel is in a safe part of tiny Santa Maria, close to the beach and also the city centre. We had the roof top room with a kitchenette (with everything.... even oven, dishwasher, freezer etc) and for our needs on this trip, it was the best hotel room I have ever had, it felt private with its own part of the terrace behind a little gate and had lots of Light and views in all four directions. Staff is wonderful and professional and cares for every guest taking an interest and trying to adapt to their specific needs. They arranged taxis (same price as if you book yourself) and we also had a good car rental experience through the hotel. Their recommendation with regards to local restaurants were perfect. Will return asap.

Internet does not always work very well in the roof top room, but it was not a problem for us. We also got help getting a local SIM card with data.

The sympathy of Alba and Eugénio always ready to help organize my trip. Room was very spacious and clean. Quiet neighborhood just 4min walk to Angulo Beach. Minimarket at 2 min walk The daily personalized breakfast was a must!

The staff ( Eugenio from the reception who is very kidsfriendly!) and Alba who prepared the breakfast ( omelette, fried eggs, toasted sandwich, cake and delicious cappuccino)were very friendly and helpful. Our room ( New York) was clean and quiet. The location of the hotel was close to the beach and restaurants.

you could install some hooks in the room to hang some clothes.
