The house sits in a very quiet neighborhood. It is easy to drive anywhere to downtown SF in 15-20 minutes, and many stores and restaurants can be found very close. You can also walk to the shore and admire the fantastic view of the ocean. The house is cosy and the beds comfortable. Last but not last we've received a very warm welcome from CJ, who offered us a lot of good advices and was always available. Definitely recommend.

We stayed as a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoyed a couple home cooked meals in between exploring the city. Conveniently located to get around town and not drive too far to get there. Lots of awesome photo opportunities. When we needed something the owner responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

This retro home, time traveled to the 60's, provided ample space for the 4 of us (parents and 2 adult kids), plus the space to store our camping gear. It was quiet, convenient to the BART, and food options. The host was easily accessible and responsive to our questions, with great advice on DC and SF. I highly recommend this property!

Plenty of places to sleep: 2 bedrooms; and a daybed with a pullout. 10 minute drive to the zoo and beach in a nice neighborhood. Owner lives across the street and was very nice. Noticed a moldy coffee filter left behind in the coffee maker, but not a big deal after a quick cleanout. Would stay here again.

The house was great and the host was very responsive and accommodating. The only thing is that the listing said 2 bathroom but there was only 1.5 (we thought there’d be 2 showers). It didn’t end up being a problem though and we’d stay there again for sure.

This house is spectacular! It's cozy and fun with character overflowing in every corner. The owner is helpful and extremely friendly and accommodating. Would give 20 more stars if they'd let me. Great, quiet neighborhood that is close to everything! Highly recommended.

Great property, super convenient to westlake shopping area, skyline/beach access. Stayed with family over Christmas. Kids really enjoyed it and the owner is super. VERY clean inside- don't be fooled by the super cool retro look- just play the track to Austin Powers and enjoy!! Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pots/pans, etc for doing meals at home. Despite crowded street parking, never an issue since you can park in front of the driveway. Just pay attention to street cleaning schedule- something CJ is very mindful and reminds you when you check in. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful, warm, comfortable home driving distance to shopping and the street car. Lake Merced wonderful walking.

Great time in a very comfortable home

Funky 70's decor brought me back to my youth. House was clean and as advertised. About a mile to BART station, which was nice. Out of the SF tourist path, but close enough to go when you want. Parking was right out front for the most part, which is better than most of SF.

When returning from seeing the city at night there was no where to park near the house. Drive way was blocked by someone's car. Got a ticket the next morning for parking on side street on street cleaning day. There was no where to move car to. Where I live no one parks and blocks another’s drive.

Thanks for the perfect home near the beach & near SF. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back.

Great stay in SF for the weekend.

CJ, host, was a wonderful host and the house was perfect. CJ was waiting for us upon our arrival, and the check in was very easy and quick. The house had everything you would want, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything to prepare any meal. The house was clean and had three TVs throughout the house. The location was close to stores and restaurants. Overall, the perfect place for a family or two couples.

We were looking for the perfect place to stay for our trip to San Francisco. This place ticked all the boxes! It’s in the best location - near the coast and also close to San Francisco. The house is in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood and the retro vibe in the decor is just fantastic! We had a very comfortable stay and really felt at home here. The hosts are very welcoming and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. They even bought Easter eggs round for our kids. Just really thoughtful and lovely. Our 5 year old had the time of his (short) life on this trip!

Although it was a short stay, we had an incredible time at this VRBO unit in Daly City. Everything described and shown about the unit is what you see. The living room, kitchen, and bedrooms are meticulously arranged to protray a certain 70’s theme. The place is an ideal for family, guests, and business travelers who want to enjoy the hospitality of the host and the beauty of Daly City surrounding in the most elegant way. Once you make it into the unit, it will certainly make you feel like you are in another time warp of 60’s 70’s of look and feel. We would love to come back again. CJ - our host is super super great. He was there to personally check our guests which is always a wonderful thing to be welcomed on our first day of our arrival. And for those visitors who may mistakenly leave possessions here and there, before checking out, no need to worry. Your super host CJ will put them in good hands to be retrieved. Worked very well for our needs

CJ and Yanti were great to work with; very responsive, very informative, and very helpful. The property was awesome. The decor provided a unique experience while not sacrificing on comfort. A quick walk to the Bart station made this an easy base to the city.
