The location of the hotel is amazing. We definitely recommend hiking up the Cerro Wank which you can see from the hotel. The staff was really nice and in general there was a very pleasant atmosphere. Also, they are trying to somehow make up the older facilities with decoration in line with the german/suisse/european history of the place. It was possible to pay in Pesos, even though on booking it stated USD. They just use the daily conversion rate to calculate. And the bread for breakfast was really tasty.
It was just a bit older than we expected and the rooms without view are quite dark as they are literally facing the rocks. Also there was no fruit for breakfast.
