We really enjoyed our stay, it had all the comforts of home. It felt much more like we were guests and not renters.

What a great place! This home away from home is exactly as pictured. It was a great place to go back to after busy days in Salem and Boston.

This was one of the best VRBO rentals we have stayed in. The pictures don’t do it justice because it’s beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, with everything you would need for cooking. The towels were by far the nicest we have ever used at a rental- soft and plush, and the bed was was like slipping into a cloud. I kept thinking longingly about that bed since the next place we stayed had an uncomfortable bed. Mark was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. The subway station was a quick 20 minute walk and provided the best way to easily get into the city. Overall, an excellent experience.

The check in and out process was very easy. The house is so cute! Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed here. Everything was very comfortable and cozy and Mark was there for anything we may have needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again!

Mark has a very comfortable and well appointed apartment. Extremely clean and well taken care of. I would live there in a heartbeat if I found myself in the area. Mark took the time to meet us personally the morning of our departure after a short one night stay. Offered suggestions for our route up north. It is clear he excels at being a vrbo owner/operator and takes pride in doing so.

We were very impressed with this property. The apartment is very roomy, incredibly well stocked with absolutely everything you could imagine you would need! The towels were nicer and softer than hotel towels, lovely toiletries provided. Mark has thought of every touch! We did use the laundry - big clean great machines - laundry detergents supplied. The bedrooms were lovely - everything was so clean and well maintained. We took Ubers into Boston - only $12-15 between 4 of us- very reasonable. The kitchen had every possible appliance you might need - coffee and tea supplied. It felt like being at home. We will absolutely stay there again next time we visit Boston with friends and family. We met Mark - he is very pleasant and easy to communicate with! Thanks Mark!

This place was simply lovely, as was the host, Mark. It was in the perfect location for us, the availability of a driveway was important for our use with the minivan rental and the first floor accomodations (after a few steps up to the porch) made for easy navigation for the mobily challenged in our group. The house was super clean & comfortable. For foodies, the amount of quality cooking equipment, cookbooks & utensils was unexpected & really inspiring. While cooking wasn't on the agenda this trip, we will definitely be back to visit family in the area & make better use of it. Mark was really helpful and accommodating & made superb restaurant & sight seeing suggestions. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful place to stay. Short ride to downtown Boston by Metro or Uber. A game at the Red Sox is superb. Mark is a great host.

Mark has created a wonderful place. It is like walking into a home you would love to have with beautiful furnishings. This man is so talented and such a nice person. His creation is amazing. One doesn’t want to leave and hopes that a return trip is in the near future. It is an easy trip into Boston or to Concord and Lexington. DO NOT hesitate to book here if you are anywhere in the area. PS. Have booked these around the world and this is the best!

My teenage niece and I stayed in Mark’s fabulous and spacious place while visiting Boston and surrounding areas. The home is just gorgeous and Mark has seriously thought of every detail for his guests, from amazing bed linens and luxurious towels, to a fully stocked kitchen and adorable coffee nook, to the relaxing and comfortable living room with cable and streaming apps, and to numerous restaurant, activity guides and maps. We had the opportunity to chat with Mark and it was evident he very much enjoys hosting people and is always thinking about what more he can add for his guests. I would easily say this is the best VRBO I have stayed in. I knew I didn’t want to stay directly in Boston, especially since we had a car. Malden is a great little suburb just a few miles outside of Boston. We easily navigated the subway or “the T.” The Malden station is not far from the home. We both walked it (maybe 15-20 min) and picked up an Uber (about $7). We certainly felt safe walking through Malden to the home and there are several restaurants along the route that you could stop at and have a drink or snack. We took the Orange line into Boston - super easy! The Back Bay stop was perfect for shopping on Newberry Street (the teenager’s favorite part)! It was about a 20 min ride - easy! We also rented a car because we wanted to explore neighboring states and appreciated being able to park in the driveway. I would say if your plan is mostly Boston, a car is certainly not needed though.

We enjoyed our stay. Easy access to downtown Boston and other day trips. The beds are super comfy! Would stay here again if we ever come this way again!!

Very nicely remodeled in a fairly quiet neighborhood. Was a great place for our home base to see red Sox game and lots of historical places. Definitely recommend.

Mark wants his guests to enjoy their time here and it shows! With the extra touches, including spices for cooking, shampoo, body wash, comfortable beds and furniture. Very good host. We will be back!

Clean, well maintained house

We brought our college-age son for a make-up graduation gift that was postponed during Covid. We were SO thrilled with Mark’s home and his hospitality as an owner. The home is so cute, extremely clean, and he has stocked it so well! You need not worry about having to go to the store to grab toilet paper or soap or any basic essentials. The home is within walking distance of a T stop so taking public transit into the city each day was so convenient. In addition, Mark is the most helpful owner - we messaged him with a lot of questions prior to our visit (and a few during our visit), and he always responded so promptly. The neighborhood is so quiet, and we never felt unsafe walking at night. This was a wonderful trip, and this home and owner were a big part of that! 100% recommend staying here!

Centrally located, meticulously clean, and equipped with literally everything you could want. Mark is an amazing host.

Initially I was a little weary when we drove into the area, but I had asked friends prior to going and they all told me it was a safe area. We are used to a new city where nothing is over 30 years old, so nothing we are used to has character! The house was exactly as seen on the site and was beautifully maintained inside and out. LOVE the original wood work in the house. Mark was there when we arrived and was very personable. He thought of everything that someone staying there would need. Very homey and we really enjoyed out stay. The location is relatively close to the city which was perfect. Much better than having to rent 2 hotel rooms and cheaper when you have a family. I would absolutely recommend Mark and this home to anyone whether it be a couple or a family. Would definitely stay here again!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Communication with Mark was great beforehand, during our stay and the checking out process. He made everything so easy. His place is so clean and charming. Being only 20-30 minutes from Fenway made for a great weekend. We would definitely stay again.

The property was very clean, and organized with little notes everywhere to help you know where everything is. The neighborhood is quiet and very family friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone.
