The bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette had everything we need. Fridge was a good size. Option of two pools. Free use of washing machine. Nice size shower.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable and was room around bed to bath was limited.

Perfect location, beautiful, clean and comfortable apartament. Close to everything including the amazing 4miles beach. Would like to stay much longer!

Beautiful courtyard with garden and pools.

No overnight staff. We didn’t need anything, and it probably keeps the price down—but I just feel better knowing there’s someone, “just in case”.

The accommodation was spacious and lovely in a great, central location.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of Macrossan Street where most of my time was spent.

My bedroom and wardrobe were tight and the apartment was a little tired.

The one bedroom apartment was mostly very clean and well laid out to make best use of its 50m2. Useful kitchen area with plenty of crockery and glassware. No problem finding a decent champers or red wine glass. We had already spent 5 days at a resort about 4 klm out of town and wanted to get closer to the action and near the restaurants and shops etc. for a couple of days and this is a great location for that, as well as being close to the beach swimming enclosure.

Room 18 is on the ground floor and was extremely dark with virtually no natural light, which required the lights on all day. There was even no light entering from the balcony as it was obscured by plants and ferns. The only lounge was fairly worn with some stains on the seating area. The aircon in the lounge simply did not get cold and had to be supplemented by running the bedroom aircon full bore to cool the place down. The vents on the lounge aircon were broken and were held open by a plastic top from an aerosol spray can (see picture). Not what you expect from an establishment rated 4.5 ! Our room was also very near the common laundry which was running virtually all day and pumping machine noise and hot humid air into the hallway, as the door was permanently jammed open with a brick. As there were still rooms available online, I just wonder why we were ever put in that crappy room in the first place. I hope that it wasn't because I booked through Booking.Com and not direct with the hotel. So take a tip and don't accept staying anywhere on the ground floor. Wi-Fi was mostly non-existent during our stay but they were trying to repair it on our last day.

We stayed at Villa San Michele for 5 nights in October and had a great time. The apartment was very well designed with very efficient aircon and ceiling fans. It's very quiet as it's set back from the main road. It's within walking distance of the main restaurants .I certainly recommend staying here.

Great location, right in the middle of Macrossan Street. Friendly front of house staff who gave good tips on things to do. Refreshing pool. Private balcony space was lovely.

Air conditioner didn't work in the main room (the bedroom air conditioner worked well). They were going to send someone to fix it but this didn't happen. Three flights of stairs from the carpark with luggage (just so you're aware). A bit tired and dated.

Perfect location in the middle of Everything. Extremely clean and the kitchen and supplies were perfect.

Area around the pools are small but we were out and about so much it didn’t matter.

If you book into a resort that advertises wifi then you should have wifi. The wifi was so poor it was not able to be used. If you wanted clean towels you had to wash them yourself at on-site laundry. This level of service is unacceptable for a busy popular tourist destination as Port Douglas

Conveniently located to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. Lovely and well maintained building. Amazingly clean bathroom.
