The staff were very nice and the room was clean

Very noisy at night as the windows are not at all soundproof, the plumbing gurgles loudly when another guest uses the toilet / shower. I could hear the guest in The room above walking around quite clearly. The bar food was microwaved and bland

The location of the hotel in picturesque Cobh is excellent. This was a work trip where I arrived late and left early so I cannot comment on the food. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and overall I was happy with my stay. Waking up to the beautiful sea view was definitely a bonus!

The hotel is an old building which means it is not as modern as some hotels but it is perfectly adequate for a work trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the Commodore. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the room was fantastic. I stayed here about 6 years ago and it was lovely to see the rooms had been updated and modernized since my last stay. We had an amazing view of the sea and were happy to sit and watch the boats coming and going. The amenities in the room were excellent, we made use of the smart tv, excellent WIFI, tea and coffee facilities and the bath. There was also bottled water and on the go breakfast of fruit and a muffin provided which were a lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

It was a little loud in the morning with deliveries but we did stay midweek and had one of the windows open due to the summer heat.

We like the hotel but there was a smell in the bathroom which I think are the drains it was not there all the time but when it was it was very strong!

Breakfast beautiful 😍 But too expensive feel tea and toast should be included in price .

Overall stay was lovely circumstances not good I was there for a funeral and met with family and friends in the bar ,another family member didn't get in until 11:30pm we were sitting quietly a small group of us and would have liked 1 drink together before bed but we were refused it was not handled particularly well. I understand that people have rules but it was quite sensitive 🥺 I don't want to sound off just some constructive feedback. On the other hand when I got there my bag was carried upstairs and everyone else was very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely consider including tea and toast with breakfast price had I have been staying longer I would have eaten up the street for less than half the price.
