Delicious breakfast, helpful staff and good location.

Not the staff’s fault at all but sadly it’s all about value for money, the room is very small and average for the price. No swimming pool, no little touches like complimentary water etc. The place in general lacked a bit of soul. Also the bike hire was very poor, bikes in terrible condition, they say it’s an external company but the hotel name is on the bikes.

One star because the staff was great and helpful. The hotel prices are just exaggerated, nonsense. In our “deluxe” room the sink was leaking water from below and the wardrobe had falling doors. We claimed and got the room changed, however we experienced similar problems. Also, not even a bottle of water included in a 240€ per night stay. Further, we used the bike rental offer but the bikes were shameful. The breakfast room has a nice view but it’s full of bees that are tasting the food before you take it. Will never come back here again.

- location, beautiful view (from most of the rooms there is no view though) - after checking out, it was offered to us to leave our bags in the hotel until our boat arrives (later that day) + a possibility to use the bathroom/shower when picking up the bags - shuttle to the beach and the port - mostly friendly and helpful staff (except for the A/C issue below 1.+2. try)

- rooms are old-fashioned and look cheap. many 3-stars hotels/cheaper 4-stars hotels have a much higher standard (also on Sicily) - the A/C in our room was not working. it created a pond and was dripping over an electricity socket. we complained three times: 1 (17h) - they mopped the floor, 2 (20h) - no one came to our room as they were solving the same issue in another room, 3-we got another room (22:30h). Although the end result was positive, we spent good 2h in our room waiting for someone to come and fix it, or to provide a solution. Very unfortunate, as we only spent one night there. Not the best overall impression. - the breakfast was very underwhelming. Pre-packed sweets (Mulino Bianco), cereal (Kellogg’s), raw scrambled eggs (+fried “bacon” - was actually prosciutto). A lot of wasps around the fresh stuff (croissants, some cake, Tramezzini). The ham was classic ham seen in hotels for breakfast, nothing special. No cheese was to be found. There was an option to order a coffee from the waiters - they were nice once I managed to get to one of them. They did not come to us in the first 30 min of sitting there (I assume they wouldn’t have at all unless called over).

Breakfast both mornings had lots of wasps at the buffet cake area. it was off putting. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Close to the center and on the way to beaches. Right on the seaside and 500 Mts from where you could swim. Really nice

The rooms are noisy both from the air conditioning system and from neighbors. You need to ask and pay for top floor rooms

Great location 5 min on foot from center of village, but quet location, seaside possible to rent bikes on spot. Equipment is not new but spotlessly clean. We were very happy with the stay.

The location and the staff.

It cannot be more perfect as it was. The friendinless of the staff, the location sea front, the large and clean room with a little balcony sea view, walking distance from the little town, breakfast ok, wifi ok, and if you need a scooter or a bicycle they bring it at the hotel. Free Transfer from and to the port, even restaurant away in the country provide eventually transfer. Do you need more?

Location is close to city center and the ferry hafen. The room was very spacious and the hotel looks nice. I particularly appreciated the post check-in shower and changing room service that they offer! So you can check out in the morning, spend the whole day at the beach and then get a shower and a change before taking the ferry. So handy! Also very convenient their bike rental service.

Breakfast was disappointing. Apart some pizza they just had cakes and fruits. No savory options were served. When I asked for eggs or cheese the answer was the due to covid restrictions they couldn't offer them which sounded ridiculous as in all other hotels visited during this trip they all served eggs and savory options (moreover why sweet options were covid free and savory options were covid risky has been unanswered). Room wasn't cleaned properly. The glasses looks dusty as well as the other surfaces of the room. I had the impression they didn't refresh the room after covid reopening.

Location was great, short walk from the ferry. I would give it another go even though our experience was not great.

It’s unfortunate that they were closing the hotel for the season( 24th September) If we had known I would have booked somewhere else. No breakfast, bar had run out of things. Booking.com was still showing it as available after we left. I think the staff were ready to close for the season.

Good hotel. The location was very good for the port and centre of the town - both approx 7 mins, where there are all the facilities including the scooter/hire shops, close enough also far enough not to see or hear them from the hotel. The location is on the sea front, facing North, but we took an inner room which was quiet. Bathroom and shower is good. Breakfast is limited, but the gorgeous town centre is only a short walk, and full of cafes. You can walk to some beaches from here ie Punta San Nicola, but basically you need a bike or scooter to explore the magic of this island

the design is a little bland but it is clean and new, the breakfast is limited, ie no buffet. but these are minor, it is impossible not to like Favignana!
