This establishment was so welcoming, it made me feel like I was coming home. Fantastic all round.
The creeky floors in the room but it's an old building which is normal and acceptable.

Everything! Just what I hoped it would be!!!
Friendly,caring host. Good location to break my journey from Stafford to Truro. Food was excellent. Room was spotless and comfortable.

The breakfast and evening meals were very good. The evening meal menu was limited ,however the food was well cooked and prepared. The host, hostess and staff were excellent being both friendly and attentive.
The bathroom was a little dated but still sparkling clean and the hotel location a little isolated . Ideal for a short stay or an overnight stopover.

Easy location off main road from Minehead. Lots of parking and open aspect with extensive lawns. Very friendly staff. Double room had very nice open views from 2 windows. Dinner had a wide choice and good breakfast, both served in a sunny conservatory dining room. Good value considering room, food and service. Good stop-over on the way from Devon to the Midlands

Upon arrival we had a very warm and friendly greeting...our rooms were very clean...comfortable and cosy. We had an evening meal and it was truly delicious...breakfast to was so good...plenty of choice...xx

The owner was very nice and even offered to transport us to the wedding destination we were going to. The room was cosy and had everything you needed. The breakfast was lovely I would say that most of the cooked breakfast was locally sourced, really great friendly service and quick .would definitely recommend a stay here.
Just to be really picky because to be honest nothing yo dislike. The keyring for the room key is too big and bulky.

The location and shared areas were absolutely lovely! Very beautiful building and garden.

The breakfast was excellent as was the food at Dinner. A wide range of freshly cooked dishes were available with different specials each evening. The accommodation was good- very comfortable. Nice spacious room. The Hotel is set in a lovely grounds in the countryside. It is close to Steart Marshes, the Quantocks, Dunster and the coast- so plenty of places to visit. The host Simon and his wife Gillian were very welcoming.and friendly as were the rest of the staff.

Quiet rural location with easy access to local towns. An extremely pleasant stay with probably the most hospitable, sociable and accomodating team made my stay comfortable. An exceptional breakfast and equally delicious evening meals. Room was comfortable and fully furbished. Will visit again and recommend highly.
