staff, room, air con that actually works off an evening (10/10)
I drove from the UK to Lyon. Theres no hotel parking but there is a local car park. Parking staff are not helpful ! don’t bother with the LPA app….it’s rubbish and no English option. Go old style a car park ticket and pay at the machine ! it’s less bother honestly !

Great location, very clean, good value for money. Very comfortable bed.
Not enough storage space-no drawers at all. Not many sockets and none near the bed.

Mercure Beaux Arts has a great location !!! The Hotel es very well kept and it does have a very French feek to it !!! All the staff - from reception to breakfast room very helpful & attentive !!! Perefct size, not too grand but very well supplied !!!
Nothing I did not like !!! To us it worked beautifully and we only have great satisfaction from our 4 day stay in it !!! Our room very quiet - as I requested- and well appointed with a very contempo decoration !!! The beds and quilts were so perfect and comfortable !!! Great !!!

El desayuno es muy completo y variado.
La ubicación es perfecta, se puede ir paseando a todos los lugares de interés. Y por lo que respecta al transporte público tiene paradas de metro y autobús muy cerca (aprox unos 5 minutos).
Aunque en los hoteles franceses es muy normal que el wc este por separado...estaría bien que tuviera un pequeño lavabo en el mismo espacio para lavarse las manos.
Pero esto es una sugerencia...estaba todo perfecto.

My room smelt of cigarette smoke. Eased with the windows were open but returned when room closed while we were out. We didn’t ask for a room change as we had 2 rooms side by side.

Our stay at Mercure Lyon Beaux Arts was amazing!! The staff was incredible! The breakfast delicious! The room magnificent!! Only a 30 minute walk from the train station A perfect location! walking distance to amazing restaurants historical sites fantastic open markets. A centrally Beautiful hotel with friendly knowledgeable staff highly highly recommended!!!

Everything. Fabulous location with shops, restaurants nearby. Spoilt for choice with so many restaurants. metro was easy to use. Room itself was superb. Highly recommend paying a bit more for room with a view over square.

Took a €200 'guarantee' on top of full price of stay when we checked in. Never had that before.
Stayed 2 nights. Housekeeper took away old towels but didn't leave fresh ones or replenish coffee supplies.

we stayed in Room 512 which was anger than most European hotel rooms, nicely appointed. French doors to a balcony, excellent bathroom, large very comfortable bed. wonderful location for centre ville … easy access to two major car parks, short walks to the Rhone and Saone, wonderfully elegant pedestrian shopping promenades.
