The rooms are spatious. The dinner was exceptional when taking half board.It is the perfect place to charge batteries.

Great hotel with many swimming pools; Good location, near to many restaurants and pubs. Good road bike to Balaton. Tasty breakfasts and rely good suppers.

It is hard to communicate in English, only few people from staff speaks English. Prices in hotel are rather high (bear, water, coffee). Coffee served to breakfast is not tasty.

parking isn’t free at breakfast and dinner it wasn’t clear what was what, lots of food had no labels so you had no idea eg what kind of cheese or what jam you were having - a random label was placed above a row of 6 jams saying diabetic jam, no clue which one it was… not great if you’re diabetic… everything had sugar in, eg rice pudding and semolina pudding so you couldn’t season it to your taste and again not great if you’re diabetic even the cinnamon has added sugar in it main dishes and dessert were fantastic but starters often inedible and tasteless cleaning - staff left dirty glasses and spoons where we left them, didn’t replace with clean ones, only randomly replaced the mugs. weird. Also left the bed as we left it (although we made it ourselves but obviously not to hotel standard). so basically they only cleaned the bathroom pool area was overall nice but the recline beds were not appropriate for a baby which was a pain (basically nowhere to sit with a baby)

The apartment was really nice. The dinner was a buffet but elegantly served and the food was really great. The breakfast was brilliant too. Arriving late we got the chance to enjoy the pool as it was opened till nine and evidently not crowded during those hours. I would have loved for the coffee in the morning to not be an instant coffee but other than that everything was amazing including the staff's professionalism.

Heviz is nice little town/spa center with lot of greens and flowers. Lake is very nice and something that you can not see anywhere else. Nice walking distance from hotel to the lake (max. 10 minutes). The hotel overall is nice, the room as well. Everything was clean and staff was polite. Spa facilities, outdoor pools was nice.

Nowhere is mentioned that construction works between 2 outdoor pools (and also just below our window/terrace) are in progress, which off course had influence to overall impression. Although I am not the one of those who think that should be too much food choice in the hotel, but if this is the current standard, I must say that this was not the case in this hotel. For breakfast, the salami was low quality. What particularly surprised me was that choice of pastries was very bad and everything seemed "like from yesterday". Also, the coffee was of poor quality. There was not a large selection of food for dinner, but what was on the menu was nice and delicious. I thought I should write this, because it is more surprising having in mind that the Hungarian is well-known for extremely good and quality food. I guess Corona's time did its thing.

Great location and reception staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Pool area is very good.

Restaurant staff could be more helpful and friendlier. Massage and Beauty services were fully booked so we weren't able to use these. Still building some areas outside
