This place checked all the boxes. Lovely, charming, convenient location within the walled old town. Walking to the beach and to the kayak tour location only took 5 minutes. Grocery store 5 minute walk away. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Loved having a sea view and also a pool at the apartment. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

From the helpful and friendly front desk people, to the pleasant room, to the beautiful pool and grounds, we loved Baluarte. The easy walk to the town and beaches was ideal. Lovely villa type atmosphere.

Swimming pool area was beautiful and relaxing. Location was great. We loved the amazing views from our apartment roof terrace! And the staff were super kind and friendly, with particular mention to Eva who was exceptionally lovely and helpful with any questions we had.

Only issue we found the bad smell coming from the toilette sink.

The location was just perfect, inside the historic walled town. Was close enough to be able to walk to all the bar’s, restaurants and shops but far enough away so that it was nice and quiet at night. We stayed in the studio apartment and it was the perfect size for a couple. Loved that it had a balcony overlooking the pool area and the ocean, we had some spectacular sunrises! When we checked it, the staff were so lovely, extremely helpful and very thorough in providing directions to everything. Provided some great tips for dinner as well!

This is our first time in Portugal and staying in an apartment in Portugal, we didn’t realise that it came with no coffee or tea at all. Small thing, it’s just not what we are used to. Maybe when sending emails preparing people for check in, advise them of what is provided and they will need to provide the rest. Also the bath towels were very thin, low quality. Small things really that definitely did not take away from the whole experience.

great location and comfortable space. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to center of old town Lagos. Apartments were a little expensive for our budget, but were spacious and very comfortable. Property had a pool and sea view. Free street parking all around.

Fantastic place to relax and spend my birthday with my son. . So quiet and peaceful . The staff are lovely and helpful. My son and I both will be back 2023. He wants to bring his wife out, perfect for a romantic break and I will be back with my friend. Thank you.

the location was fantastic. halfway between town and the beaches. the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly.

I love the apartment. It was amazing and comfy. The terrace was great. I drank coffee out there in the am and had a little vino and read my book in the evening. Location was awesome and super close to a grocery store to get all the things you need to make you feel at home. Front desk staff was increíble and kind!

Not the property’s fault but the noise carried a lot. Someone was watching TV really loudly in the early morning so that was a bummer for me. Plus just the noise of people talking and doors slamming was prevalent. Again not their fault.
