Very clean nice friendly staff

So close to the Gatwick airport so perfect

Room was ok but could do with updating and outside of the hotel was a dead rat!

The bed was comfortable

The room was too compact, and the sliding door to the bathroom was broken. Guy on reception, we spoke to on the phone not very helpful and when we arrived not what you would expect (very scruffy, buttons on shirt popping) Breakfast was not what I call continental

The person on reception said we weren't booked in even though we had the confirmation on our booking.com app and on an email. And could see that we had already paid in full. The place was dirty, the room hadn't been cleaned, dirty towels, bins full of rubbish which hadn't been emptied since 7th August. The place was being decorated and full of materials and no furniture etc in the main areas. It was the most disgusting place I;ve ever been to and we did not end up staying there. We left our key in reception and left

Location good for the airport. basic value for money room and facilities. building work impacted the stay but not noisy works.

price was good compared to others. Location was good for Gatwick. we liked that. They posted Information information about the taxi with telephone numbers and advice to call the night before. 

before we booked, no mention of construction, nor the difficulty with checking in late. We were not left any key for the room. Hours of the staff were poor no one was there during our stay. And we didn’t have hot water. We arrived very late and left very early, but we saw no staff at all.

The location was of value to me.

The entire premises is under construction. The advertised restaurant was not available. The breakfast was acceptable for the quality of the property - which would rate as poor. The only reason I booked the hotel was the price. The level of the property is not worthy of the £100+ per night (including breakfast). It should rate closer to £65 per night.

Close to airport. Bathroom was very clean and appeared relatively new. Bedding was clean and tea/coffee making facilities in room. I am guessing most customers use the hotel for closeness to Gatwick airport. for this its an ideal lower cost solution.

Hotel undergoing some renovation/building work so no cooked breakfast - so cannot comment on this aspect.

Close to Gatwick. for one night stay if you are extremely tired and do not need anything except for sleeping it will serve. good alternate to be compared with sleeping in a street.

Close to Gatwick but take into account that you have to reach the airport or by taxi or on foot.

Very helpful man on reception.

Very chaotic ground floor with furniture stacked everywhere, due to building works. It was mentioned on the booking information and it didn't actually affect me as I only stayed one night.

The hotel is very dilapidated, with poor hygiene. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. The chairs are dirty, the bathroom is dirty, and there is still dust on the quilt. It's not worth the price. It's a terrible experience！

Good shower, convenient location

Additional fees a rip off. Breakfast options farcical. Offering wooden cutlery ridiculous.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were available at a reasonable price. Easy access to public transport. Great value, especially if you prepay. Shuttle service to the local airport.

The shower facilities could have been a little more accommodating. There was no comfortable public lounge to sit in but to be fair there were some renovations going on.

Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Simple check in/ out and facilities were basic but perfect for a 1 night stay. Bed was comforable and everything was clean. Heating was on and the room was cosy on a very cold evening.

Nothing! (Would have liked to have been able to get food in the evening but I knew that was not possible beforehand so not at all a critiscim, just one for the wish list!)

The staff was friendly and the hotel was close to the airport, also the rooms even though the bedding was eclectic (which I hope is in view of sustainability) the rooms were cean

The beds not just one room, as we stayed for two nights before and after our travel, were soooo uncomfortable, Its like an old cheap mattress which was topped with a mattress topper which could not help with feeling the springs or whatever that was poking us , in both rooms it was freezing, bearing in mind the temperature had dropped and you would expect the hotel to ensure that the rooms would be warm enough so you would not have to sit for hours with cold feet, hands and nose. At one point I didnt even take my jacket off for at least 2 hours. In the first room the radiator was not working and it took a few hours to get that to work and in second room there was no knob to turn anything up or down, and radiator was off for 6 hours before it came on. Even though it was clean, the bed and the lack of heating was extremely disappointing and I am upset we even paid anything for staying there

The staff is very cooperative and nice in communication. They support for early checkin in case of availability of room. The location is near to Gatwick north terminal airport and near to facilitates (supermarket, restaurants)

The rooms are old and there is no good isolation for sound.

Very convenient location for Gatwick and trains into London.

Difficulty in gaining access despite arriving within stated opening hours. Uncomfortable bed, very thin pillows and duvet.
