Sehr zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage im schönen Ort Ballito. Es sind nur ca. 150 m bis zur Strandpromenade. Zudem hat die Unterkunft einen wunderschönen Garten und Wald. Die Zimmer sind ansprechend und hochwertig eingerichtet und der Spa ist zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Positiv überrascht hat uns das kleine, aber sehr feine Frühstücks-Buffet! Wir kommen gerne wieder...

The hotel was at the perfect location, with excellent facilities. We stayed for one night and wished we had booked for more. Breakfast was also very good.

The front desk staff was a little indifferent to us and our requests, although other staff members went out of their way to attend to us.

1.This was not a 'forest sanctuary' as advertised 2. CDM seems to be a local watering hole vs a boutique hotel 3.Given previous experience of 4 & 5 star TGSA properties - this property location, lack of staff training, facilities was disappointing.

Lovely hotel so close to the beach front. Very clean with excellent parking and security. Room service was very good and food was excellent.

There was a quite loud mechanical humming noise in our room that we couldn't quite pinpoint. It stopped when loadshedding arrived to be replaced by the generators starting up. There was also a rather loud obnoxious woman in the foyer cursing and arguing with people for a long time and we could hear her from our room. Maybe she should have been dealt with quicker as we were trying to sleep for an early flight in the morning, so not necessarily the hotel's fault.

Water used in rooms is non-potable. Drinking water is free issued in bottle form but is too little.
