The location is fabulous and the property was very clean and welcoming. The room was ok the small side but we loved it. The decor was very nicely done, the bathroom was clean. The attention to detail on the breakfast was great. second night, it was bit noisy in the adjoining room. nothing to fault the place with obviously but struggled to sleep.
Even though we were central - very little noise from the town. absolutely great place to stay.
we managed to get parking at the back of the property but we wouldn’t of been happy to pay in the car park. :-/

Buffet breakfast was not available and lack of options for diabetics.

Good choices for breakfast with coffee refills and prime location near the library for tour pick up. Also ideal location for walking around Ambleside. Room was clean and stocked with drinking water, coffee and tea along with a kit-kat each. Hosts Anne and Andy were friendly and helpful.

Andy and Anne were both lovely. Breakfast options fantastic and varied. The location is great for anyone who loves hiking/walking. Does everything you would want from a B&B and does it really well.

Lovely hosts, cracking brekkie to set you up for a good walk, shower was a trickle though but that's the only negative!

The property is located near to the town centre, but far enough to remain quiet.
The roomed were more akin to a modern hotel. The standard of cleanliness was excellent.The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

The room was very small ,with no space for chairs,we only had the bed to sit on.
