Door de locatie is het lastiger om even hapje te eten in de avond.

Gugun and wife were so nice and helpful. Anytg we need they will assist asap. There s only 4 units villa , feel like we rent the whole place . Nice view , nice pool, very cheap , peaceful. They even help us arrange for the massage people to come everyday. Help us on the laundry.

the Indonesian breakfast which is served was excellent, was possible to order dinner too (the place is kind of remote, so no restaurants close-by, only street food venders) which was also very tasty, possible to use the pool 24/7 which is great, really nice interior room design mainly based on wood and traditional Sundanese carvings, nice garden (which people who do not have a nice garden at home will be very excited about), typical rural green environment - you are basically experiencing Indonesian village life when staying there which means you'll hear often muezzins & prayer singing as well as the insect concerts in the evenings/ at night, nice views onto Bandung, you don't notice/ hear any street traffic (which is special given Indonesia's traffic & traffic jam density), only few rooms (about 3 I believe) are rented out, so that you also do not see many people which some people might find nice given the bustle of daily life in Indonesia, getting there from the main train station of Bandung is not a problem: hire a Blue Bird taxi which will drive you there in little more of 1 hour for about 150.000 Rupiahs (ca. 22 km)

it's certainly nice to be in Indonesian nature & a rural environment, but it's not (all the time) quiet in your room - the rooms are made of one layer of boards which do not isolate any sound and there are fairly large openings between some of the wooden beams the roof is constructed of (which are not secured by any net) so that not only any noise (from mosques, cows or insects) enters your room, but also insects may fly into it esp. in the evenings if you have switched on the light in the room (it's dark at about 6 pm) - that I found a bit unpleasant: would have appreciated the option to be able to close the window/ veranda door for keeping sounds & insects outside; did not have an AC or (working) ventilators in the room which could have brought some cooling (which can be challenging at night) - there was a ventilator installed, but it produced more noise than air movement, so was pointless switching it on - I asked for a fan, but was told there is none available - all in all one could argue: all that is/ should be part of authentic Indonesian village life (with tourist amenities) which you can sort of experience in Rumah Lereng - in this sense a stay at Rumah Lereng is fairly a unique experience for a stay in Indonesia I think

De plek was heerlijk rustig zo in de bergen met mooi uitzicht, en het personeel was gastvrij en super vriendelijk, ook kregen we elke ochtend ander ontbijt.

Het enige minpuntje was de wifi in de kamer die af en toe wegviel, misschien zou het een goed idee zijn als de router van de wifi in het midden van de kamers zou hangen want verder had je op andere plekken wel uitstekende wifi.

Heel mooie rustige omgeving, volop in de natuur. Prachtig zwembad en heerlijk ontbijt

Die Unterkunft Rumah Lereng liegt oberhalb von Bandung sehr idyllisch inmitten der Natur. Herrliche, gepflegte, sehr schön bepflanzte Außenanlage. Hier kann man dem Trubel Bandungs entfliehen und den Tag in Ruhe beginnen und ausklingen lassen. Sehr schöne authentische Zimmerausstattung mit liebevollen Details und tolles, geräumiges Bad. Herrliche Terrasse mit weitem Blick. Morgens wurden wir vom Vogelgezwitscher geweckt. Etliche Volieren auf dem Unterkunftsgelände. Affen in Sichtnähe in den Bäumen. Überaus freundliches Personal. Frühstück für indonesische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Kaffee- und Teezubereitung im Nebenhaus möglich. Wunderschöner Pool.

It was AMAZING! The garden is so beautiful, we loved the pool and the birds chirping everywhere. Feels like a small paradise tucked away in the mountains. The staff is really nice and sweet.

It is quite far from Bandung and there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. But the location is totally worth it. Bandung is so busy that an escape from the traffic and noise is very welcome ;-).

Staff went out of their way to help, waiting up late for us to arrive and even doing laundry overnight! The accommodation is beautifully, finished to a very high standard. Luxury surrounded by nature.

The stay was fantastic, on the outskirts of bandung, very quiet other then the mosque in the morning hours ;). Super helpful staff! When our taxidriver didnt show, we were taken to the trainstation by the caretaker of the place. Different local breakfast every morning, vegeterian was no problem at all! Highly recommend

We loved this place. We had an amazing stay. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for some private quality time. Very beautifully furnished and designed place with a breathtaking view, it was so lovely being surrounded by all of the lush nature and hearing the sounds of the animals, also the service was very good and the people are very nice :) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

This was such a beautiful, romantic, calm and peaceful place to stay! Mr. Gugun and his wife are extremely friendly, helpful and kind hosts! They helped us arrange all the trips we wanted, and prepared breakfast for us even at very early hours. Their homestay is an awesome getaway in the middle of a calm and beautiful nature. I couldn't recommend this place more.

There are many mosques nearby, and thus, their songs and psalms at very early hours wake you up but on the other hand, you get to know the local culture and learn about Islam a bit more. The place could also seem difficult to be found at first so I recommend booking a taxi in advance. The last thing, that could be handled better is missing doors for the bathroom, which would create a bit more privacy.

Everything was amazing but especially Gugun and his wife ! They’re amazing and lovely people who will help you with everything you need and questions you have !

Nothing

We love everything! The room, the view, the fresh air, the friendly host, the cute cats and the cleanliness is superb! The wooden floor is so smooth with the clean feeling, no dust at all. All the metal braces in the shower and sink are glowing just like newly installed. This level of cleanliness match with 5* standard. The host are husband and wife are friendly with the warmth that touching your heart. We really enjoy our stay in Rumah Lereng Bandung.

The trees are high now so couldn't have a clear view to city light, but the nature in surrounding paid off.

Almost everything, excellent resort, amazing hosts, delicious breakfast, fabolous swimming pool. Highly reccomended for a natural retreat away form the city!

- No net for mosquitos and bugs in the bed - Muezzin singing at 3am at night for 1 hours make sure to bring earplugs

If you like to spend your time in nature this is the perfect place to escape the city while visiting Bandung city. It’s a small drive from city of Bandung. Friendly staff.

Be prepared to make a little trip from the city center

Location was good, with great views. property was super clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast tasted great and was cooked upon request. Bed was very comfortable. Hot water was working properly.

No lunch or dinner is provided, and as it is a little isolated, there is a need to bring food with you. They do provide a kitchen and pantry that you can use if your want to.

If you are searching for a unique hotel in the middle of the nature, this is the place for you. The hosts are very nice and helped us with everything we needed. The view from the rooms is breathtaking and the infinity pool is very nice. The wifi was good.

The breakfast was a very traditional one and it was not on our taste but this was not a problem for us.

Wonderful place! Living in Indonesia in the past, my expectation was high and Rumah Lereng met it all. Greatly designed, clean and up standard. Easy to reach, just take the train from Jakarta or Yogya and a taxi will await you (count on 100 usd). The surroundings of Rumah Lereng are stunning, this is the part of Bandung you want to see. This is the Java you want to experience.
