If you need peace & quiet this spot was it.

The hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Superb location, so peaceful. Such a wonderful place to rest, relax and enjoy. Lake Macquarie is just beautiful.

The breakfasts were delicious & abundant. The food was fresh & beautifully presented. Narelle was a charming & generous host - nothing was too much trouble.

Amazing place to stay.

Beautiful bungalow with pristine furniture, soft furnishings and utilities. Overlooking the pier and river flanked by two pal trees was idyllic. Can't wait to take my wife there on a special date.

Enjoyable,relaxing You could not ask for a better host so natural

Breakfast was fresh with lots of choices The view was amazing and the accommodation was just what we like.Narelle the host was always available and extremely helpful about the surrounding areas and in other areas

The driveway was steep so we parked on the road so no real problem.More clothes hanging space it was Ok as we only spent the night

A wonderful relaxing break from Sydney

We stayed in the Boathouse. Location couldn’t have been better. Breakfasts were amazing and Narelle made sure everything was just right for an enjoyable stay.

What an amazingly peaceful and beautiful place. Narelle was an exceptional host, who provided us with not only delicious breakfast but also lots of information on the local area. We were completely in awe of the stunning views and we have truly enjoyed every moment. We would definitely recommend this venue to our family and friends.

Sweeping waterviews, great room, warm hospitality and a fab breakfast

The owners Narelle and Bill kindly upgraded us to the self-contained cottage on the edge of the lake, which was extremely comfortable with a wonderful view. We had an issue with our car so Narelle offered to drop us at the local Bowls Club for dinner and we could get the courtesy bus back. She served us a delicious breakfast in the morning
