We had a wonderful stay at Alpenchalet. The place was exactly what we anticipated.

We payed €50 for cleaning but had to dispose the trash at the end ourselves. We were reminded vegetal times that the dirt bins are our responsibility!?!

I loved my stay at the property. The host Magdalene was so warm and welcoming, she really made my stay. I loved the garden and views of the mountains. my room and shared living-area had a cosy bavarian feel. breakfast was nice with bread, jam, meats, cheese, yogurt and teas available. Its a 15 minute walk to Grainau village and the walk is really pretty.

The entrance door was a little difficult to lock / unlock, when it would heat up on warm days, which was annoying

Location. Well equipped. Nice view of the mountain. Very close to Eibsee and Garmisch.

The Matratzen

Large apartment, fresh bakery delivery every morning, good heating

Very dark, apartment was situated below ground level, only 2 windows with daily light, not enough lights

Location is wonderful , home like feeling, I loved the Bavarian style, design, architecture,decor is not like IKEA, all facilities available,the host was happy to help with our enquiry, they were understanding to let us stay 2 h more after the check out time

The bedsheets are not so bright white .

Lots of room; parked 2 cars; balcony with beautiful Mountain Views. Fresh baked rolls delivered every morning!

Hostess was lovely and helpful, but difficult to communicate with In English.

Great location, super supportive host, comfortable apartment, and the views were amazing :)

Parking was a little tight but didn't detract from our great stay.
