It’s in the heart of the city
Too old and had to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor and too noisy at night until very late night.

Liked nothing did not stay as could not find a parking space or entrance tried ringing and was told quite rudely they couldn’t take call couldn’t leave message call back later so we slept in car on side of the road not impressed as we are both in our 70s

The beds are always comfortable and air con was great. The room was a great size with access to the front verandah.
I do enjoy the meals and entertainment at The Cri.
The lounge in my suite was exceptionally dirty, broken springs and should be disposed of. I wouldn't even use it for my pets.
Bedspreads are still being used which makes me think of how much DNA evidence is on there. Everywhere else uses the triple sheet system.
Very musty smell in room. A full length mirror would be great. Poor lighting in bathroom and bedside lampshade was wobbly.
Yes, it's a beautiful old building and historic but some simple changes are warranted.

Didn’t like the old hotel rooms. Very noisy, could smell cigarette smoke wafting up. Not enough electricity outlets, and very dangerous raised step before Bathroom.

the joint rocked - loud on a Friday night but a great vibe - live music - people letting their hair down, having fun!!
& my accommodation over delivered! what more can you ask ? :-)

Placed us in a corner room which overlooked the Fitzroy river & the quite street.
The staff seemed busy & not very talkative when you though the first impression/ greetings.

I think we may have been allocated a not so nice room (number 2) because we booked via Booking. Com . There were few if any other hotel guests yet we were not allocated a room with a view etc.

The history of the hotel. The convenience of the excellent restaurant . The position of the hotel on the waterfront was beautiful, and the parking out front was very convenient.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s always been a pleasure. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food at the pub is delicious.

Large room, excellent bathroom, great parking. We had lunch early dinner, really good food at fair price, drinks not overpriced.

Booking was for a motel room with 2 beds. Was given a hotel room above the bandstand down stairs, noisy and lighting was very poor.
