The location is great, well located, just a few minutes from the main street and shops/restaurants. The surroundings were very quiet, very peaceful and the view from the balcony was really nice. It has a terrace with an amazing view and having a private parking space really makes the difference. The hosts were great, super friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!!

4 éjszakát töltöttünk Taorminában, ebben a szuper apartmanban. Az apartman nagyon jól felszerelt, minden alapvető szükséges dolog megtalálható volt, mint pl. konyharuha, mosogatószer, mosogatószivacs, olivaolaj, só, bors, kávé....stb. Ez számunkra azért volt nagyon fontos, mert repülővel, egyszem hátizsákkal érkeztünk és így nem volt szükséges minden ilyesmit vásárolnunk. Marta nagyon segítőkész házigazda volt, mindenben rendelkezésünkre állt, minden kérdésben segített, ajánlott nekünk éttermeket, látnivalókat. Az apukája jött értünk a buszállomásra, ő is nagyon kedves :) Az ágy hatalmas és nagyon kényelmes, a tetőreszról a kilátás lélegzetelállító, de a kiseb teraszról is nagyon kellemes a kilátás az utcára és a szemben lévő csodás kertre. Tényleg nagyon jól érzetük magunkat. Taormina és a környéke gyönyörű, de mindenki kösse fel a gyatyáját mert rengeteg lépcső és fel-le út vár ha itt gyalogosan akar boldogulni. Márpedig másként nem lehet :) Mi rengeteget gyalogultunk és nagyon élveztük. Februárban voltunk, ami ideális, ha nem akar az ember tömgeben lenni, de számítani kell rá, hogy sajnos több étterem, bár, autókölcsönző is zárva van ilyenkor. Az idő velünk nagyon kegyes volt, napsütés 16-18 fok. Javasolt a robogó bérlés, ami máris hozza magával az igazi "DOLCE VITA" életérzést ;-)
Nem tudok ilyet mondani. Talán lehet hogy valakit zavar, hogy a szálláshoz felfele kell gyalogolni a sétálóutcától, de itt leginkább mindenhova felfele vagy lefele kell gyalogolni, ez Taormina sajátossága :)

Miły czysty apartament w spokojniejszej części miasta. Blisko bramy Porta Catania i marketu Deco. Świetna lokalizacja dla osób lubiących piesze zwiedzanie. Przestronna sypialnia. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Cudowny duży balkon i wspaniały taras z widokiem na miasto, otaczające wzgórza i Etnę. Cudowni, pomocni właściciele. Doskonały kontakt. Szczególnie doceniamy podwózkę z dworca autobusowego.

Wonderful apartment, which was nicely furnished and very well equipped. The shower was great, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The balcony was much bigger than expected with a table and chairs as well as deck chairs and awnings to provide shade when necessary.
The highlight for use was the brilliant roof terrace where we would go in the evenings to watch Etna steaming as well as look at Taormina and the sea. It was always peaceful, cool, and with a lovely breeze.
Marta was delightful and helpful - her father picking us up from the train station was very much appreciated.
Location was superb - just a 5 minute walk down the steps and alleyways to the supermarket and the main street - where we Indulged people watching!
Having parking was a real bonus as it is very difficult to park in Taormina.
Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Great, yet quiet location near the restaurants, shops and sites of Tiamina. Hosts were always available if needed via WhatsApp.

People park their car opposite the garage forcing me to drive the wrong way in a one way street to get out of the underground parking spot.

Martha is a very kind and considerate host who communicates very quick and clear. The apartment was very clean, the balcony was good for breakfast and the roof terrace has amazing views over the Etna and the sea. Free parking was also very convenient. Martha also helped us to find the best restaurants and attractions.

I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Taormina. The location is great, max. 20 minute walk ing distance to all the sites and restaurants. If you are traveling by car, there is a parking place (for a smaller car, like Fiat Panda, which is great. Marta was really welcoming and helpful with any information. We traveled with our 13 month old daughter and Marta prepared a cot for her (free of charge). Also, we were here in february and it was one of the few places in Sicily with radiators, so the place was really nice and warm. If you want to cook, there is everything you need and a well stocked store nearby. Will surely return to this place if we are ever back in beautiful Taormina.

It was so helpful of the owner to collect us from the train station & take us to her apartment & for her Father to drive us back to the bus station after our stay.

A perfect base from which to explore Taormina and surrounding area. Comfortable and quiet, with a parking space. Excellent Wi-Fi. Marta was a brilliant host, really helpful.
The parking is a bit tricky. Definitely only really suitable for a Panda or smaller.

Very kind and heart warming people. The appartement itself had everything we needed and was very comfortabele and clean. Ideal location, very close to the center, stores nearby.

The host is an amazing young lady that has been very kind to us and helpful.
The location is great, 5-10 minutes on foot to the town center with all the shops and restaurants.
There is also a nice supermarket very close in case you want to buy food and drinks.
The flat is clean with all the necessary amenities, a big balcony with table and there is a wonderful terrace with views of the sea and the Etna.
If you want to spend few nights in Taormina don't look further, Casa di Marilena is the best place in town!

The apartment looks better in real life, the terrace is splendid, bed very comfortable. Although it’s located near the old town, centrally, the area is very quiet and you can get a good sleep. The host is very kind and welcoming, Marta shared a lot of tourist suggestions, she picked us up from the bus and drove us back at the end of our stay. I would return anytime to this apartment, we already miss it 🧡

I never ever had such a nice welcome. Maria is the best - the nicest and caring person i met in my travels. constantly asking if we need help, she was very helpful. she even recharged our italian numbers with her money. it was so kind ❤️ helped us with everything and made us feel like family.

Marta and her father are exceptional hosts. Marta messaged me before our trip began to ensure our arrival to the flat would be smooth and seamless. She provided a baby cot and high chair for no extra cost. Throughout the stay, Marta was available for immediate answers to questions and provided super helpful tips about things to do in and around Taormina. Marta’s father picked us up and dropped us at the bus station upon arrival and departure and came immediately to fix a small repair that needed to be done during our stay. The flat is very spacious and comfortable. The bed is very large and the mattress is firm, which we loved. The private balcony was perfect and sunny for an afternoon aperitif. The huge rooftop provides wonderful extra outdoor space with a great view. We absolutely loved our stay and would absolutely return!

We loved everything about our stay at La casa di Marilena. Marta and Marilena warmly welcomed us at the house and gave us all the information needed regarding the flat and the "Must-Sees" in Taormina and the surrondings.
The flat was very huge and offers enough space. It was very clean, comfy, was well equipped and had a very large balcony from which you could see the little village Castelmola on the top of the hill.
Since we have been travelling by car, it was also perfect to park our small car on a private parking spot for free.

You can park the car for free at the place but be aware that it has to be a really small car to fit in! Fiat Panda did just fine:)
