L'équipement, l'emplacement au centre de Cilaos (restaurants, marché le dimanche, magasins , boulangerie , petit bazar en face de la résidence avec de magnifiques fruits, randonnées...bus pour accéder à certaines...), appartement avec balcon avec une vue imprenable sur la montagne par temps dégagé !

Propriétaire peu joignable, ne répond pas au sms, ni au tél ... Arrivée pour nous vers 19h , en pleine nuit. La résidence bien trouvée, bien indiquée. Mais l'appartement en lui même pas simple peu éclairé, en sachant heureusement qu'il n'y en a pas beaucoup. Papier sur une porte peu visible dans le noir et trouvé grâce à une personne en location dans cette résidence. Et qui nous a indiqué l'escalier derrière la résidence pour accéder à l'appartement. Le propriétaire aurait peut-être pu m'indiquer par sms la conduite à tenir pour l'accès à l'appartement comme il se fait très souvent avec d'autre loc sur booking .

An amazing base for exploring Cilaos! Right in the heart of the village with everything you need within walking distance - including the start to many amazing trails. Great little terrace with our room and all the utensils we needed to prepare packed lunches for those days spent hiking! Thank you!

We liked everything!

Our experience couldn’t have been better! A spacious yet cosy studio with a very well equipped kitchen, a nice and hot shower, comfortable beds and a cute balcony with a beautiful view (if the weather allows) of Piton de Neiges. There is secure parking, and they also offer breakfast at additional cost which you can enjoy on your private balcony (we didn’t have time unfortunately but must be a great experience!). The best thing about Résidence Eglantine is the host though: She was just so friendly and warm, we felt very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for her, even though we speak very little French. This is the best place to stay in Cilaos!

The location and view is great. It was easy reach nearby shops and the host really did her best to work with our broken/lack-off French. The sweet smell of the flowers on the way to/from the stairs will remind us forever of our stay in Cilaos.

The bathroom could do with some new silicone.
