At the beginning of 2022, we booked an accommodation at the Ferienwohnung KIBA Bodensee Friedrichshafen Fisbach. The 8 of us decided for a 4-room apartment, having enough privacy for each family. We paid the rental price of 1,483 Euro. Two days before the planned arrival , we received an information from the owners that the apartment cannot be used due to the fact that it has been damaged by previous guests and so they´ll try to arrange a similar accommodation in another apartment, Rezidenz Manzell KIBA 24. We have been informed that there are only 3 rooms in this alternative apartment but on the other hand, its total size is bigger than the original one (it should be mentioned that in fact, this apartment was smaller, being offered for only up to 6 people for the seasonal price of 1160 Euro). We were assured that the accommodation for 2 guests will be resolved by the time of our arrival. To our surprise, it has been solved simply by adding two foldaway armchairs, one to the living room and another one to bedroom under a sloping ceiling. The apartment was nice, but absolutely unsuitable for 8 people. Additionally, the original apartment was advertised to have a garden and barbecue. None of these services being available at the alternative apartment. Not only that, we also found out that the originally booked apartment at the time of our stay was not being repaired but being RENTED!!! This double rental of a more expensive apartment is probably a new way to make more money on guests. The landlord probably considered the whole matter settled. We expected him to visit us during our stay and deal with us, but unfortunately this has not happen, as well as we did not manage to find him and talk. Not even apologize or perhaps offering a discount returning the price difference between the original and alternative apartment. We tried many times to contact them to agree on the partial compensation, so far without response on that.

Newer apartment, nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of five. Bathroom was spacious with a large shower. Located in a quiet residential subdivision only a short drive to Friedrichshafen restaurant district on the water. Each room had a queen bed and a tv. Owner was very friendly and check in process was seamless. Located on top floor of the building. Parking on site.
