Great condo!
We loved the condo, it was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Loved the trundle under the bunk bed that allowed all 3 kids to share a room. The only complaint is that the common hot tub was not usable (not heated and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time).

Great location, few issues
Keys were a little hard to use, , TV was easy to use! Couch was a little saggy. We loved the location and great place to walk our dog!

The unit is a two bedroom on the ground level, there is another unit directly above. There is new construction (June 2022) occurring right outside the bedroom and family room windows. The foldout in the family room should have been replaced years ago. The TV's also need to be updated as we could not connect a HDMI to connect our Roku. The kitchen was stocked to our satisfaction and the secure covered garage is a bonus with two spaces. We saw deer 3 feet from our patio and grilled our dinners a few times on a grill close to the unit. Great water pressure in the shower.

Overall a good experience
some suggestions: (1) the carpet needs to be replaced especially this property hosts dog.
(2) quite a few chipped dishes, bowls, plants and trash cans. Those should be tossed.
(3) when the outdoor sprinklers go off, there is a loud scratchy sound inside. It should be fixed.
(4) there is a construction going on at the moment next to this property.

Great Location, Very Clean and Cozy Condo
I really loved our stay at Cabins 21 in January 2020 except for the noise from our upstairs neighbor! During our whole stay we could hear people stomping above us until midnight! We told them nicely we could hear them but they didn't care. It was no fault of Natural Retreats and I must say they tried their best to address the issue (they reached out to HOA to contact that condo's owner) but not much they could do. The building doesn't have the best noise insulation; however, what made up for that was the interiors. Condo looks better in person, it's very clean and cozy (I'm very particular and am OCD about cleanliness). In my opinion the best future is the view of a snow embankment and trees from the living room and kitchen. You really feel like you are in the woods without neighbors! For skiers/snowboarders, it's an easy 10 minute walk to Eagle Express. If you have kids, drive over and drop the kids and gear off. One parent can drive back, park the car in the garage then walk over to the lift. We walked to the lifts then rented a $15 locker for our shoes (I wouldn't recommend walking in your ski boots) but for our snowboarding friends, it was easy to do in their boots. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Fireplace is great! It's electric and is a switch to turn on/off. And love the in unit W/D which I did use twice during our stay. If you are sensitive to noise, you may not like this unit BUT overall loved this place!

We took in this great area between the busy seasons. We came in October to enjoy the beauty of the fall and the absence of crowds. The whole Mammoth area was fantastic. This condo was a perfect location and very comfortable. It had everything necessary, was really really clean, nicely appointed. We really liked the layout too -- easy to gather and visit, peaceful for sleeping.

We visited in the Fall for a week of fishing and relaxing. This condo fit the bill perfectly. The views out windows are spectacular. The condo was very comfortable and cozy. The secure underground parking was a nice feature. Check in was easy, there was plenty of everything we needed in the condo, the unit was in good condition and everything worked. It was easy to just relax and enjoy our stay in the mountains.

First time staying on Sierra Star golf course.
What a treat quiet comfortable and serene.
A little construction next door was the only issue
But if your on the slopes it’s not all that bad.
They start at 7 am to about 5 pm. Other than that perfect stay.

I had high hopes for this property, after choosing very carefully among many options. The location is nice -- close to Eagle lodge, abutting the golf course, and near enough to town. The unit is newer, though the carpet is already showing signs of wear. The furniture is comfy and fine. Yet, the hot tub was empty and nonfunctional, which for my family was a key amenity -- indeed, we always choose a place with a hot tub for us to relax in after a long day of skiing. I'm sure there will be a trite and polite response to this review that says something like "the hot tub was not available due to maintenance and we're sorry for the inconvenience," but that does not cut it. The tub has clearly been out of commission for a very long time -- no doubt when we booked and certainly now -- and then and now there is no notice on the VRBO listing that the tub isn't available. It's easy to update the listing, folks... This makes the description importantly inaccurate. In my mind this mis-advertisement is no different than if I'd booked a 3 bedroom place and arrived only to find 2 bedrooms. This is not what I paid (a lot!) for. Beyond this, the wifi worked about half the time we were there, the cleaning was subpar (we had to re-wash most of the dishes before using them...there were cleaning utensils under the couch...etc), and the bunk beds are fine for kids but not for adults (no real mattresses). Overall, this unit was nice but had some serious flaws, at least one of which absolutely should have been addressed in advance via a simple notice on the listing, which would have prompted me to stay elsewhere.

Beautiful but customer care not great
This condo and location were beautiful but check-in was disappointing. The key bank did not work so someone had to meet us to bring a key. Also, there were no extra keys as promised in the listing and the Wifi did not work for our entire stay even though a tech was promised to fix it. Overall the place was nice but the customer care could have been better.

It is small condo on the 1st floor but it is nicely outfitted, great bathrooms, furniture, has everything you need and it is in great condition. Has 2 car garage, which is great. Awesome view to the golf course from the living room and dining room. One night deer came by and we were watching them from the dining rom window. It is conveniently located close to everything you want (Vons, Ski lifts, diners etc.)
The only downsides for us were poor service from the managing property (manager on duty not return our call and a few requests we had like asking about certain amenities on the property and keeping the noise upstairs down they could not do) also there is a unit upstairs and we got a noisy neighbors whose kid would cry non stop in the morning. Rental management told us since they do not manage unit upstairs. Otherwise it is a great condo!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was very clean and well equipped. They even provided slides and we were able to find a patch of snow and had lots of fun!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were a few minor challenges with the property...the garage door stopped working, clogged toilet and clogged shower drain. The location is awesome and it was very nice to be on the golf course. Short walk to Eagle express.

Mammoth stay
clean, awesome condo with everything you need. The original condo we were supposed to stay at was under construction the day we were leaving but the management team figured out another option for us quickly.

Golf Course Rental
While we wish someone would’ve notified us prior that there would be construction going on the entire length of our stay (during what would have been our wedding week), inside the actual unit itself was nice and clean. Lots of space, great kitchen to cook, and close to the village/shopping centers. Great views, although we didn’t really get to enjoy them because of the construction workers and debris. We would stay here again in the future, so long as the construction is complete.

Con..Broken lamp, broken hinge on dresser, rubber band around cover of TV remote, bed spread was out of the 50s my wife said. Pros..bathrooms were nice, garage. Dust and spider webs understand we are from the mountains.

No problem renting. Only returning our key to the lock box. The code we had would not work and I had try several phone numbers to finally talk to someone regarding our problem. Once we spoke to someone we were told to just drop it off in the mailbox. It would be nice to just have a locked box to drop it off in the first place. Otherwise, we had no issues. Thank you!

Perfect weekend!
We loved our honeymoon stay at this property. Everything was perfect and the views out the window are beautiful. The property manager was amazing and so accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Cozy and clean
We rented this unit for our wedding weekend and it was perfect. So peaceful, cozy, and clean. The natural retreats employees were so supportive and kind! They made sure we had everything we needed.
