There was absolutely nothing we liked, please do yourself a favor and do not even stay here. Wanted to stay overnight in Roodepoort because we wanted to support a friend who was doing a gig in Roodepoort. BIG SURPRISE when we were greeted at the reception and there was FREE government condoms to take. This place is a glorified brothel. I would have rather slept under a cardboard box on the street than at this place. I think it's DISGUSTING that bookings.com even allows these people to advertise. We made an excuse to leave and needless to say we did not return. I had to pay an extra R700 on top of the R600 to stay at a hotel. Oh and they rent our rooms hourly as well so that says a lot!!! DONT DO IT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!I would honestly say this guy has a great business going on because I think 99% of people arrive and after seeing the place they leave so they lose the full R600 they spent to stay there and this guy makes R600. Disgusting to say the least- you must be a person with extremely low standards to book In here. Pictures vs reality are 2 different things so save yourself the R600 and rather just scroll past.

What did i not like?Where to even start? The free government condoms are probably a great place to start! Or maybe it was the signs telling you not to flush condoms down the toilet but rather to throw them in the buckets provided. The room seemed clean although after we left there I wanted to bath in dettol so I can feel clean. The lady that greeted us by the gate seemed friendly so that's atleast something. Let's just call it what it is... it's a brothel. You just have to bring your own prostitute. Or maybe it's a service they offer on top of the hourly rates we just did not stay long enough to find out. They rent our rooms hourly and it's non refundable if you cancel. People not from the Roodepoort area will get scammed just like we were. We were simply looking for a safe, clean place to sleep for the night and we were scammed by booking at a brothel. Real classy!! I don't know what type of people will stay over here but your standards must be 6 foot under to even think of sleeping here. We spent approximately 5 minutes here and it was too long. JUST DONT DO IT!!!!!! Disgusting to say the least. I think bookings.com really need to review their clients before adding them to the data base. FOR THE LAST TIME DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS SH!T HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. .. No privacy, had to share bathroom on 1st day and kitchen all through ...no enough decent towels for a couple...basin was blocked

The location is good and very close to shops

The place needs to be renovated,change of furniture and bedding It is like a place where people come to have sex only not a place to go with family,not cleaned probably until you complain that the room is dirty

No breakfast. I prefer getting breakfast.

Option for a warm bath not only shower water hot. TV not easy to operate

Property maintenance shoddy, interiors are out of date and upkeep is dismal. Bed linen questionable. We were handed a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap. Greeted by a man in sweatpants, socks and slops.
