Perfectly located. Small but well appointed and comfortable rooms. Tea making facilities and a fridge were a bonus.

Front desk staff were not informative or particularly helpful. Our bathroom had a defective tap in the sink and a loose shower control. A simple, basic maintenance issue that should have been reported and addressed by cleaning staff.

Our stay was short so there was not a lot of time to use all the facilities but our room was bigger than most that I've experience in the UK. Great location, less than 5 minutes from Victoria station.

the hallways were very narrow, there are some stairs that are impractical for big luggage.

Great location for attractions and transport and very quiet for a central London hotel. Rooms were clean, if a little qwerky and bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly too. Would definitely stay again.

Tophams is beautifully decorated and feels ‘cool’ in more than one sense. It is so close to the buzz of Victoria Station yet so quiet.

The breakfast room was a bit cramped, but, once more, beautifully appointed.

The location was excellent and the small lobby was nice and cozy.

The rooms were very small. We’re used to European hotels, but we found the room to be very small and there were NO drawers, only a small closet so we had to keep most of our clothes inside the luggage.

We loved the people who worked there (so nice and helpful), the beds and pillows (so comfortable), the cleanliness, the location (near transportation, pubs, and Buckingham palace), the restaurant and bar, and the quiet street and lovely area (we felt extremely safe).

The rooms are a bit small, but we got along great. Everything was clean, fresh, and the bathrooms were wonderful.

The hotel was pretty central to everything, with Victoria Station only a few minutes walk away.

The staff were extremely rude and unfriendly from the get go. We had booked the superior double room, which was advertised as having a dvd player & fireplace. When we arrived, we were given a very basic room with none of the above mentioned. There was also urine all over the toilet seat & the toilet wouldn’t flush. I rang up reception & explained that it wasn’t the room I booked & made them aware about the toilet. Once again, they were really ignorant people. They changed us to a different room, which had a fireplace, but looks can be deceiving. Do not trust the photos that are posted. The room is nothing like it is shown in the pictures. There was stains on the bedsheets and a big black hair in the bed, which didn’t belong to me as my hair is fair. The air conditioning is rubbish, the room was like a sauna, way too hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. I do not know how this hotel is a 4 star hotel, it’s more like a 1 star & I would rate it 0/10. Stay away, would not recommend, not worth the money.

Perfectly located near Victoria. Has been refurbished recently. All is new and in a perfect condition. The breakfast area is super cool and cosy and the breakfast itself with lots of fresh fruits was extraordinary. I hardly understand some of the bad reviews.

The hotel was clean and well decorated, and the location is excellent, 5 mins walk from Victoria station. The room was disappointing but the shower was good and the breakfast was also very good value.

The room was disappointing. We were first offered a room on the second floor - it was very small, the bed was pushed up against the wall along one side (so you'd have to clamber over your partner to get the bathroom in the night) and there were steps to get down to the bathroom. We asked for a replacement, and the only one they could offer was a basement room - so very limited light and no view - and it was cold. Although this room was much larger, it was also quite bare - could do with some pictures on the walls. It was however clean and the decoration was good (just looked bare and austere without any pictures)

The location was amazing: just near Victoria station, close to Belgravia — easy access to theatres and transportation! The hotel was also clean, with a modern decoration. The breakfast room was nicely decorated as well.

The smallish rooms weren't very soundproof — we heard the plumbing from the room above us, and people talking in the corridor. We felt effort had been put into the decoration, yet it lacked soul and life. The breakfast could have used some freshly made food (fresh bread or scrambled eggs for instance). The staff seemed too exhausted to genuinely care for customers...
