Der Flair dieses alten Hotels war überwältigend. Das Zimmer war sehr gut eingerichtet , das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein umfangreiches, gutes Frühstück war im (sehr moderaten) Zimmerpreis enthalten.

Lovely character property in the heart of the beautiful old town. Spacious well equipped room. As it was a Saturday we were able to park at the front of the property.
A little hard to find as you have to drive into the pedestrianised area. Not a great problem.

The hotel location is excellent and right in the town, parking can be a little tricky but I was on a motorcycle and the hotel let me park in an underground garage just round the corner, it was a market day the next day or I could have left my motorcycle just outside the hotel.
Breakfast was more than adequate for me, and was enjoyable.
On the day I arrived the restaurant in the hotel was closed in the evening but I was pointed in the right direction to some good restaurants near by.
There is a roof terrace which was a surprise and would be lovely to sit up there with a glass of wine or a beer, however I did not have the chance as I had to meet friends in town.
Would happily stay here again. 😀
Would have loved to be in the hotel when the restaurant was open to have drinks and a bite to eat but I did know in advance the restaurant was closed, so not really a problem just a slight disappointment.

Nice central location (although parking was a bit of a nightmare) and a hotel full of character.
Very hot room with no fan and not much air. It was a very last minute booking and the last available room, so we probably had the smallest double room in the hotel, but even so, the right hand side of the double bed was very difficult to get in and out of as it was against the wall. There were no bedside lights on that side of the bed either and no table …. So nowhere to put a clock or a glass of water for the night. Finding the hotel through the maze of pedestrianised areas and Parking were very difficult (but admittedly it was a market day the next day) it was also quite noisy until about 23:00 with teenagers making a lot of noise playing football or something in churchyard next door.

Central position in the fairytale historic part of Wangen in Allgäu. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast.
The bathroom was modern but everything else in the hotel was very outdated with old furnitures and carpets everywhere on all floors.

Breakfast was good ,everything fresh and plenty of choice . Location is excellent for the Altstadt and for exploring the town . Plenty of places to eat out in the evening , a lovely little town indeed.

staff at reception was superb! she volunteered her parking spot as our car was presumably slightly too high for the underground parking lot. room was spacious although a little old fashioned ( but atmosphere preferable to advironmentally costly modernisation). breakfast was ok although the lady in charge appeared somewhat stressed.

The Hotel is located at the most convenient point in the historic center of Wangen.
Carola the Hotel Manager is the most helpful and kindest person i have ever met and her service was fantastic!
Upon arrival they upgraded me to a better room for free.
Wi-fi internet connection was very good and the breakfast was excellent.
For sure when i visit Wangen, i will go back there again.

The hotel was in the middle of Wangen im Allgau, able to park outside to unload car and book in. The bed was very comfortable and the room very big. Breakfast was good
On the booking it said breakfast and all taxes were included but we were charged for breakfast and taxes added. The reception lady also wanted to charge us for the use of a garage which we didn't use or book. She didn't speak English so it was very difficult to explain to her. Luckily a dutch man was also checking out and explained the garage situation.
I didn't realise we had paid extra for breakfast until after we left. The room was only accessible by many stairs which I found difficult. The room was extremely hot on the first night so had to ask for a fan for the second day. The hotel is in need of a little upgrading but some aspects are very nice. There was an over the bath shower with no bath mat and the bath was very slippery to stand in whilst having a shower. In the end I had to put a towel in the bath so I didn't slip over

The hotel is lovely, we had a large cozy room and the location is perfect for checking out the town and accessing other parts of Bavaria and the Alps for day trips, the staff were very nice and helpful, the breakfast is basic but OK.
