Whilst I have given the above scores.
We had a very very poor night, the air-conditioning in the hotel made a high pitch noise. We went to sleep but woke around 11.45pm, the sound drove us mad, no one at the hotel reception to help. We turned off all our electric and the air-con, went into the main corridor. The high-pitch noise was in the corridor, remain convinced it was the general air-con.

Cute room with nice decorations, and it was located right near the city centre within walking distance to both the train station and many local businesses like restaurants. I didn't eat at the restaurant while here, but the menu looked interesting (provided you're not a vegan, which my partner is).
It would've been nice if the breakfast was included or at least cheaper. It was good, but a lot of money for what you got.

We were with a toddler and needed to take/pay a 3 people room. Even when our baby didn't sleep yet in a normal bed.

Everything you expect for a decent hotel was provided; good beds, clean and well equipped room, good breakfast. The in-room whirlpool was a much appreciated bonus.

A last minute booking after deciding to visit Joan of Arcs birthplace, hotel is approx 10 kilometres away, plenty of free parking, nice welcome despite our very poor French, the hotel is functional but nice size room with large bathroom. Book a table in the restaurant the food was great. Three course meal with wine and drinks about 80 euros excellent.

the garage was not available for early departures - it only opened at 8am. I did not get this information from the hotel description clearly. The staff were not helpful.
Breakfast also started late, as it was a Saturday: but it was THE day in the year when the whole of France moves, and there was no understanding that an early breakfast that day might be good.

The hotel is perfect to stay for a night when you're en route. I don't know the surroundings, but I'm sure it's also well suited to stay a few nights more and go explore.

Nice hotel in the beautiful village of Neufchateau. Staff is really nice. Spacious and very clean room, really comfortable beds.
Cold smoke smell (probably due to the fact that our our was directly above the bar). However the room was very clean.

In the center of town with good parking facility. Good breakfast. Bed very comfortable, soft pillow. Staff very helpful.
