Grand Manor House with some lovely areas like the bar and library. Our room in the main was spacious. Loved the pool, sauna and steam.
A little disappointed to be overlooking the car park. Some things could really bring up the standard such as repairing loose bathroom floor tiles, cleaning off marks on the wall and giving the bath a thorough clean.

Bed was very comfortable room was warm and cosy. Breakfast was buffet style lots of options. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Main house was lovely but the building outside we were in wasn't very modern and looked run down from outside. Jacuzzi wasn't working.

Very helpful staff. Wonderful bedroom and bathroom with excellent facilities. A most comfortable bed. Well appointed bathroom. Bath hat ?
A rather disappointing breakfast. Coffee machine not working properly. No grilled tomatoes. Scrambled eggs ?
The modern block at the rear was both a shock and a real eyesore…..re-clad ?

Grounds were well looked after
Poor quality but I understood the price was positioned budget and therefore fair value
Pool was out of order

Lovely old house forms part of the hotel with pretty, peaceful grounds.
Good parking & comfortable room.
Excellent shower & nice to have large bottles of toiletries instead of minatures.
The breakfast was adequate but the hot food was only just warm.
The parking bays, especially by the Garden annex, could do with re-marking to assist parking at night.
The rooms in the Garden annex were comfortable however externally the concrete building had seen better days, in fact it is ugly compared to the main old part of the hotel.
5.0
Wifi, the hotel grounds were nice.
It just felt so run down, it was dull and felt "old" - The hotel looks lovely, i wish i knew i was staying in the annex in another building, definitely didn't like walking through the gardens alone at night to my room, the room was really dated, uncomfy, wasn't the cleanest. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. I grabbed lunch in a bar area, but there was a conference on so had to sit elsewhere and totally felt like i was an inconvenience, ordered a burger that literally was soaked through the bun in grease, was pretty shocking. Breakfast was like being in a dining room, everything just felt so dull. Theres no atmosphere. I couldn't wait to leave and i travel a lot for work.

Everything was great
Hot tub not working and told out of action for weeks

We nearly didn't book this hotel based on other people's reviews on booking.com being largely negative. Frankly, we had a good stay here & would return. Room clean, bed comfy & bathroom products included. Lovely setting and very quiet at night. Breakfast was good and location is great for exploring the Cotswolds area. Honestly, what do some people want and expect for around £110pn? Get real people, As a portfolio landlady who houses many people & understands the costs involved in running accommodation I feel some members of the public have completely unrealistic ideas & expectations. Thank you Milton Hill House, we will be back.
Other people's unnecessarily negative reviews on booking.com can be very damaging to a business and I particularly felt this hotel has been wronged by nasty people who just like to moan.

The staff were really helpful and swimming pool was lovely
The hotel looked slightly run down. Our room the windows didn’t open and the room was really hot. Part of our party were 87 yrs old and needed to either go up 2flightls of stairs to the room or take a lift and then try to find their room via a maze of corridors

The room was adequate and comfortable. However we were not provide with details as to the breakfast times or the leisure facilities.
We were unable to make contact with reception on the phone in the room and later discovered that this was due to the lack of staff.

room was huge, hotel itself is a maze so it took me few minutes to locate the room, parking was just outside room. Breakfast was ok, enough variety for Continental and English breakfast.
Lunch and dinner menu choice could have been better, limited menu, though food quality was superb. for Breakfast there was tea and coffee machine, a pot of tea and brewed coffee should be added as breakfast is buffet.

The lovely old main building is set in lovely grounds. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the woodland area. The pool and gym in the leisure centre were very good. Towels were provided to use there as were fresh towels for the room. The breakfast was great too in the pleasant dining area. The paths through the natural woodland area encouraged walking around the estate.
The block we stayed in looked a bit jaded on first sight but our room inside was smart. The bathroom was very compact but manageable. The Italian Garden was beautiful but could have done with some serious weeding and TLC to give it the look it deserved, being such a nice feature and near the main building. Not that any of that spoiled our visit.

We were able to check in a little early which was fab. We don't have much chance to get away so it was great to spend a bit more time in the spa!
The only thing was the water jug in the swimming area wasn't filled up!

Comfortable, clean friendly hotel. Good food in the restaurant. Lovely friendly staff in the bar and restaurant.
The hotel particularly the restaurant and room were way too hot even after turning radiators off and opening windows. It did unfortunately make for an uncomfortable night in what was a lovely room.

The House was lovely, free parking and good location for M4. I stayed for a 3 day training event, and the facilities for a training event were good.
stayed in an ugly looking block behind the actual house. It was hard to navigate around to the block as the place is big. There was no information in the room, Wi-Fi code, meal times, room service information etc, and the room was basic for the price. Staff didn’t seem to want to be there and it showed. This hotel has huge potential but is lacking in customer service.

Very friendly and helpful check in staff
Main building was lovely, but our room was in a really shabby and tied concrete block around the back . Rooms were small

Set in lovely grounds, wish we had more time to explore.
The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean.
The pool facilities were great, wasn't too busy and very nice to have a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi to use. Towels for pool from reception.
Breakfast service could be a bit more organised. Food would run out and wasn't being topped up quick enough so we had to wait around for refills. (Could be the other guests taking too much though!)

The pool / sauna was nice although not very clean.
