My friend, Ken Hoskins and I chose Benbulben Court for its location. His late wife came from Riverstown, County Sligo. The location is therefore, good for visiting her remaining family living in Riverstown and Castlebaldwin. The reception team were helpful on arrival. The rooms are of a good size.

The apartment was advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen. Our experience is somewhat different. Yes, there is an oven with grill, sadly there was no grill tray. Yes, there is a working kettle, sadly the interior is badly stained. Yes, there are saucepans, sadly the interior of one was badly stained. We were aware that the apartment would not be serviced during our stay. However, we expected that it would at least be cleaned in advance of our arrival. Sadly, this was not the case. There is a cordless hoover, sadly there wasn't a charger. Despite making a request to reception it never appeared. Although, there is a broom, dustpan & brush and mop (sadly broken) & bucket. The reception team promptly replaced the mop. We swept and mopped all of the rooms every day of our stay. The sink plugs in both bathrooms did not work properly.

it was not clean , not properly mainted not value for money , no toiletries provided .

First of all the staff were amazing, we originally booked for 2 nights but felt Sligo deserved another night so reserving another night while we were there was no issue. The appartment looks as good as shown in the photos, very clean and had two rooms. We brought a load of our own stuff but there is adequate utilities in the kitchen. TV has netflix, YouTube and all the standard channels. Fire doors can be a pain so might need to bring door stoppers. Slept well for 2 of 3 nights. A little bit of noise upstairs 3rd night at 1am but overall very happy. Location is good if you have a car, knowing sligo before this didn't bother me. Easy to get onto the n4 to get to all beaches and hikes within the area. Sligo itself is vastly underrated and less built up than the usual tourist areas in Ireland. Will be back for sure!

perfect location very safe loads of parking free by the way and Paul at reception was an absolute gem no question to big always helpful

some of the room had not been dusted right , bit far out of city sofas werent that comfortable

Location and cleanliness were superb

I couldn’t really give any negatives only that the door in the apartments were very heavy and the stopper couldn’t keep them open so with three young kids I was afraid someone would get fingers jammed
